Meet the Author

David Miller is a former officer in the British armed forces, who served in England, the Falkland Islands, Germany, Malaysia, the Netherlands, and Singapore. He subsequently worked as a freelance author and for three years as a journalist for Jane’s Information Group. He worked on the staff of the authoritative International Defense Review, was the Editor of Jane’s two-volume, Major Warships, and has written more than fifty other works relating to guns and warfare.

While not going in depth on the handguns in this book, it does provide good basic research information along with good illustrations on a number of handguns both well known as well as obscure models.
