The Ultimate Spanish Review and Practice is one of the best resources out there for intermediate and advance students of Spanish. I used it as a sequel to the Learning Spanish Like Crazy course and found the two to be an effective one-two punch. After using the two together, I have seen my Spanish improve dramatically. Sometimes I practice with a native speaker at a Mexican restaurant my wife and I enjoy, and he¿s mentioned how much I¿ve improved also. The lessons in this book are laid out in a logical, concise, and orderly fashion and made learning very easy. Like most students of Spanish, I struggle occasionally with verb tenses and more conversational Spanish. The Ultimate Spanish Review and Practice places a lot of emphasis on these hurdles and uses scenarios that are realistic and applicable. This course is a must for anyone who is serious about mastering Spanish.

    Great Pratice

I highly recomend this book for anyone who is serious about learning spanish Grammer, I was studying this book while living in Argentina, It helped me learn why the native speakers used words and frases the way they did. I wouldnt recomend this book for a beginner, or someone that wont practice what theyve learned. It has alot of repetetive practice drills that helped alot.

    THIS BOOK IS WONDERFUL

Bothered by all the Spanish you know you ONCE knew but have long since forgotten? I hadn't had a class in Spanish grammar in 5 years; I wanted to go back and re-learn what I'd forgotten, but I had NO patience for those other books that start you off with 'Hola' = 'Hello'. This book is TERRIFIC. It's a full review of ALL grammatical topics--from verbs in every tense to prepositions to sentence formation. Every page is stockpiled with vocabulary, too, so it's a very efficient way to review/learn! There are tons and tons of practice questions and a full answer key at the back. I wouldn't recommend this book to someone starting off with zero knowledge of Spanish, but if you've gotten through 2 or 3 years at the high school level this book will do you wonders. The organization is such that you can use the book straight through starting at page 1, or you can skip around from chapter to chapter as needed. I honestly think I have a better understanding of grammar (particularly of verb usage) now than ever before, and I feel inspired to learn more. If you're interested in returning to the Spanish you once knew, do yourself a favor--COMPRE ESE LIBRO!!!!!!

Nothing compares. This book has it all. In addition to full coverage of all grammar topics it has interesting 'mini-readings' throughout. Every time I pull it off the shelf I'm impressed. Exceptional for all levels.
