    Pretty Good

It's so weird reading about Spider-Man as a young teen when I've never read about Spidey as a young teen in the 616 continuity. It's very interesting to see reinventions of Kraven the Hunter, Doc Ock, the Green Goblin, and Justin Hammer. The modernization of Kraven was really cool. Instead of a suped up human, Kraven in the Ultimate comics is a star of a reality TV show who hunts for profit and fame. The Green Goblin gets a modern makeover from a crazed drugged up lunatic dressed in a halloween costume to a genetically altered superhuman whose powers almost rival The Hulk. Even though this is a modern revamp of Spider-Man he's still just a teenager with everyday problems that today's teenagers could relate to. I think that's what makes Ultimate Spider-Man just as cherished as the Amazing Spider-Man from the 616 continuity. Teenagers in the 1960s were able to relate to Spider-Man then and teenagers in 2000 could do so with Ultimate Spider-Man.

I have not purchased this book yet but i have read every volume

I have not purchased this book yet but i have read every volume that is in it.  The Ultimate Spiderman series is amazing! I was a big fan of the tv show that use to be on Fox and JetX. I dont remember anything from the original Amazing Spiderman comics either but the ultimate Comics returned my love for spiderman and comics. I plan on buying every book of the Ultimate collection PLUS the marvel masterworks of the amazing spiderman.  I can recommend these comics without a doubt you will enjoy them.
