The Ultimate Treasureby Melody Anne
Alexa Mills gets the trip of a lifetime when she's chosen to go on a humanitarian trip to the Philippines to help rebuild one of the villages that were devastated years ago by natural disasters. She's more than excited until she steps on the jet and discovers her benefactor is none other than Lance Storm, the man she'd had a one-night-stand with at her sister's wedding to Ashton Storm.
They are together in a foreign country for a month and she can't fight her attraction to him though she knows marriage can end devastatingly badly. After all, the only example she's ever had is the abusive father who raised her and the weak mother who allowed it.
When they return home and Lance asks her to pretend to be his girlfriend for the holidays so his family will lay off trying to get him married, she can't resist the temptation. She doesn't want to spend another holiday alone.
But will Lexie forget that it's all pretend as she is welcomed with open arms into the Anderson and Storm clan? Or will she manage to hold onto her convictions and walk away when the fantasy of being a part of a family and falling in love with a man is supposed to be over?

I have enjoyed all of her books.
Always enjoy reading books by Melody Anne. This one didn't disappoint. You've got to love the Andersons. Can't get enough, keep them coming. mjw
This is such a sweet holiday themed romance! I flew through the pages of this book and loved the push and pull between Alexa and Lance. Both characters dance around their true feelings and make this read feel like both an “instant gratification” read and a “slow burn” at the same time. I give The Ultimate Treasure 5 out of 5 Krissy’s Stars! This book is one of my favorite holiday treasures for sure! Great story. Loved it!!
Lance Storm is the last man standing. Out of his huge family he's the last single guy and he's ready for that to change. Convincing Lexi Mills to really give him a chance hasn't been so easy though so for once, he calls in the meddling trio and gets them to help him set up a dream trip for her. Humanitarian work is something she's passionate about so when she's sponsored for a month long trip to the Philippines to aid the typhoon victims she can't say no. Little does she know that Lance's family is her benefactor or that Lance himself will be going along with her. This is a great story that I thoroughly enjoyed. I definitely recommend it for everyone.
Once again, Ms Anne reminds us what a talented author she is. I have read some of her other books, and this is the only Lost Anderson book I have gotten my hands on. That said, know it’s a stand alone and you will have no problem following the story. In this one we have Lance , and Lexie. They had a one night stand at Lexie’s sister wedding and neither has forgotten that night. Certainly not Lance, who since then , has not been with another woman. He sees possibilities with her, while she is afraid of commitment and marriage. Her father was an abuser , and she fears the worse. Lance’s father and uncles have been anxious to get grandchildren, and have orchestrated an opportunity for these two to get together. The start is a month long humanitarian trip to the Philippines which Lance’s company is funding. Imagine Lexis’s surprise when she realizes it’s Lance who sponsored her trip, and that she will spend a month with him. Needless to say, true to Ms Anne’s talent, the story , the main characters and of course, the rest of the Storm- Anderson clan, make this another winner for the author. Kudos Ms Anne. I was gifted this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
