I totally recommend this book. As a new developer to .NET (after living in the VB6 world for the past couple of years), I found Karl's style of writing refreshing, he gets right to the point. There are great examples and tricks in this book, I even have a monthly reminder to open it up and scan down the index to see if theres anything that will help me in my current projects - and there usually is. I totally recommend this book ***** (5 stars)
