Just a great story to read if you're a X-Men fan

Quite honestly, I think this story should of been the premise of the original X-Men movie (and Vol. 2 should of been the sequel. I love this story that much. The fact that Wolverine is a Brotherhood member at first in this story is great. Toad is actually cool in this version. Magneto really seems, for lack of a better comparsion, like a cross between Malcolm X and Osama. Cyclops' defection to the Brotherhood towards the middle is truly shocking. The characterizations of Storm, Iceman, and Beast is incredible. At last, the fight in Croatia and the final showdown with Magneto is completely amazing. The only problem with this story is the sexual relationship between Marvel Girl and Wolverine is very creepy and almost pedophiliac. With that aside, this is perhaps the best X-Men story I've ever seen!

    this story is awesome

If you love the x-men, then this series is a must. All your favirote characters are redone into teenagers with new interests, origins, and many surprises. And as an added bonus, the story after this one is a must have. So buy it . . . NOW! Take it from me.

Just as fun when it first released

The character depth is acceptable and the story is fun, but this review is more about the quality of the transition from comic to Nook format. I've had plenty of bad experiences with comics on the Nook Color such as pages being cut off, inability to read the text bubbles due to lack of magnify feature as well as poor scans. Luckilly that annoying problem was avoided with this. So if you happen to be looking for a good buy when it comes to comic books on the Nook than feel free to give this a try, especially if you enjoy Marvel comics. Now lets hope that DC comics can do the same.

    By far the greatest Re-vamp

if not the greatest X- story ever! The team (Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast, Storm, Collusus, Wolverine, and Ice Man) is probably the best blend of power and style I have ever seen, and having the whole team actually training and learrning at the school adds an angle to the comic that hasn't been felt since the early days of Atan Lee and Jack Kirby. The Brother hood, Which has the same members it has at it's beginning(Magneto, Quick Silver, Scarlet Witch, The Blob, and Master Mind), also give the whole story a retro-esque feel, but with a sharp and bitingly fresh angle.
