    I like Julia Alvarez's stories, I think they are great. I am also from Dominican Republic and I came to this country when i was a baby 17months old..I would love to meet julia alvarez some day she really inspire me with her stories. Thanks to Julia Alvarez I have learned a few things from my country that I never really knew about and I would like to learn more about my roots because i want to know more of where I actually come from.. I love Dominican Republic... and to Julia Alvarez keep up the great work! and may God bless you always.. 'Que viva Republica Dominicana'
