Overview

Warning: This is not a conventional or predictable love story. It involves one woman and two men bound by a love so destructive it spans two decades, pitting brother against brother, and shattering the lives of those touched by it.

Dorothy Kelley is a born romantic, searching for her prince. Instead she finds herself pregnant at fifteen, and a in a loveless marriage by the tender age of eighteen. Then hope comes riding into her life on a motorcycle and within weeks, Jason "Jase" Brady, a member of the Hell's Horsemen motorcycle club, sweeps Dorothy off her feet.

But nothing is ever simple for Dorothy. Jase is married with children. And as Dorothy patiently waits for Jase to give her the happily-ever-after she's been dreaming about, James "Hawk" Young, a member of the Hell's Horsemen with secrets of his own, sees an opening into Dorothy's life and takes it. What follows is a long and painful journey of self-discovery and forgiveness, as Dorothy comes to realize that home was exactly where she'd left it, and the love she'd forever craved had always been within her reach.

This is the story of Dorothy, Jase, and Hawk.

We are all born pure; it is our journey that burdens us and leads us astray. Our mistakes that beat us down and cover us in guilt and shame, burying us a little more with each passing hardship. It is up to us to dig ourselves out, to come to terms with our faults, to embrace not only our imperfections but those of the ones we love, and to once again find the path we strayed from.

I had the honor and privilege of beta reading UnBeloved. Once again, Madeline has done IT. God, I missed her brilliance as an author.
UnBeloved is the fourth book in the UnDeniable Series, my all-time favorite series, and one of the most anticipated new releases of the year. I said it after book 3, UnAttainable, and I need to say it again- each book in the series just keeps getting better and better. There is NOTHING disappointing about UnBeloved. It is sheer brilliance and everything we have come to expect and love from Madeline. Madeline will pull you in and you will not put your Kindle down until you finish. She pulls me in EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I finished in one day and I bet a lot of you will too.
UnBeloved is the story of Dorothy, Jase and Hawk told as ONLY Madeline can tell it. It is the story of the choices we make in life and how they affect both, us and the ones around us. All 3 of them have made choices- choices that weren’t the best and choices they may regret- but they made them and have to deal with the consequences.
To me, UnBeloved is a little different than the other books in the series in a way, which I will not get into as I don’t want to give anything away. But I will say that it is EVERYTHING we have come to expect from Madeline. You will fall in love with her brilliant writing, her witty sense of humor, her lovable characters, her amazing stories- all of it- all over again. One minute she had me laughing or smiling as I pictured her writing the scenes and lines and the next she was tugging at my heart and emotions as the characters went through turmoil or emotional scenes. I felt myself wanting to reread it as soon as I finished.

Is it normal to be SO invested in book characters? To feel like you want to know them, to live with them and be a part of their club? To feel so emotionally for them? To love watching them as their lives progess and see what they go through? I don’t know and I don’t care. All I know is that Madeline’s writing does that for a LOT of us. Madeline, her writing and her characters have touched a lot of us in so many ways and I know after reading UnBeloved you will be in awe of her once again.
Call in sick. Get a babysitter. Forget life for the day. Do whatever you need to do. Just read UnBeloved on release day. THE WHOLE THING. You will NOT regret it.
And by the way, do you think it is too early to start bugging her for the next book? I can do that if you like.

In all my life, the hundreds of books I¿ve devoured, I¿ve never

In all my life, the hundreds of books I’ve devoured, I’ve never read such amazing, well written stories. There is no doubt in my mind that Madeline Sheehan was born to write, to tell a story and to create such epic characters you carry them with you even after the story is finished. This is her destiny and I’m so happy she decided to publish all those years ago to share this amazing series with us.
I first fell in “like” with Madeline Sheehan’s UnDeniable. It was everything a love story should be. Real, honest, ugly, terrifying, gut wrenching and raw.
Then, I fell in love with her when I finished UnBeautifully. All that emotion packed into one story astounded me and made me want to become a better writer.
I started reaching stalker status with UnAttainable. Tegan is probably my favorite heroine out of any romance novel in the history of ever. She’s just fantastic and everything I would want in a friend.
Now, we’re at UnBeloved and I don’t even know what to feel. After finishing this phenomenal book only minutes ago, I’m a little bit of everywhere. There’s not one emotion I didn’t feel during the last few hours. I was happy and sad. I was laughing my butt off one second then crying my eyes out the next. I was falling in love with characters I always had a soft spot for and then falling for the ones that I never saw possible.
This is a story about love, forgiveness, moving forward and learning to live with the mistakes of your past. Embracing them and allowing them to guide you, not define you.
“Life is made up of moments, big ones and little, the good and bad. We never remember the grey matter, the space in between, only the moments in time that have the ability to transform us in some way, affect us to completely that the memory would be forever etched upon who we were, who we are and who we would become
I don’t know about you, but I was a little sad when the release of UnBeloved needed to be pushed back. I felt like I had been waiting on pins and needles for months, salivating over the announcement of a new release date. To get a story this wonderful …. “I will wait for *effing*ever" … for you all to devour and pray to everything holy you didn’t read it … just so you can read it again for the first time with all the wonder and excitement as you will the first time.
Even though this story revolves around Dorothy/Jase/Hawk, you’re going to get characters from novels past, and they don’t disappoint. They give you a greater meaning as to what this series is really about. Family. Love. Loyalty. Honor. Yes, we all love the badboy biker aspect, but if you delve just a little further into the depth of these stories, you’ll see that common thread between them all. You’re getting so much more than “bikers” … you’re getting … everything. Even with that being said, all love triangles must come to an end, and it did end. It hurt, it was painful, but the end result was true beauty.
“But there’s only one that can steal your soul, that untouchable, unreachable place inside of you that exists only in your mind, that warms and cools, flutters and shakes without rhyme or reason, and makes it theirs forever.”
Deuce is very present in this story and his evolution is astounding. I was shocked, but so pleased as what I read. I can’t tell you, but I can promise you’ll see the leader of our fearless gang in an entirely new light.
The other guys … Cox (still the same, but slightly different … hilarious and crude, but with a little maturity behind him), Cage (it’s like watching my own child grow up right in front of me), Tegan (still a smart mouthed spit-fire, but you’ll notice slight changes), Kami (welp … she’s Cami), Eva (who never fails to make me want to be a better woman).
I could go on and on about the slight, almost nonexistent changes in these guys, but you’re just going to have to read it.
My final note … Madeline Sheehan … I adore you. I adore your stories, your characters, your wit, your grittiness, your raw, unscripted emotion, your way of wording a sentence to make it flow like poetry, your angst and your time. With every new book, I’m a little more in awe of you. I’m more than proud to have received an ARC of this book. Even more than that, I’m honored to call you a friend.
I give UnBeloved the most stars possible. If that’s 5, then so be it, but it deserves so much more.

    A Brilliant Journey Towards Happiness!!

Madeline Sheehan is brilliant!! UnBeloved was sheer genius on her part. After reading Undeniable, I didn't think the second book could get better, but she proved me wrong with UnBeautifully, and she continued to do so, and now she has gone above and beyond in proving to me that she is not only a master storyteller, but she is the Queen of MC books. The woman is a genius.

UnBeloved is the story of Dorothy, Hawk and Jase, and their journeys to finding happiness. It is a story about redemption and second chances, and even third chances. This book left me gutted and ripped every emotion from me. I cried like a baby reading this book. Hawk is an amazing man. I did not expect Hawk's story to go as it did, but it was perfect. I love him as much as I love my Deuce. Hawk has finally learned what true happiness is and he finally understands that he deserves to be happy. The growth in Dorothy was absolutely astonishing. Dorothy has come a long way from the young woman in love with love. She has finally and truly discovered who Dorothy is. Her journey of discovery was long, hard and sorrowful, but the end result was worth every tear shed along the way. And their son Christopher...what a beautiful little boy. He is every bit the beautiful person that his father is. My heart absolutely broke for Jase because he was left so broken. Yet, he has finally begun to recognize what will truly make him happy in life and that there is more to life than just getting what he wants. He finally understands that he has to make sacrifices as well. I do not believe that Jase's part in this series is over, there is still more for him to experience. Jase's HEA is still waiting for him.

Madeline Sheehan's brilliance and her ability to craft a story that keeps you wanting more and more while pulling your emotions so tightly shone through brilliantly in Chapter 25 and the Epilogue. Wow!! Just wow is all that I can say about that chapter, and esp. the Epilogue. I am completely over ZZ, and I no longer feel sorry for him. I am so ready to read Undying. I am dying to find out if Madeline Sheehan is able to redeem him. I do know that if anyone can do it, it is Madeline Sheehan, because I did not think she could redeem a man like Dirty, but she did. She made me fall in love with Dirty, and now he and Ellie are my favorite couple, right up there with the King and Queen, Deuce and Eva.

So, Madeline Sheehan, please keep on writing this wonderful and gritty series about loves that are so strong that they span decades before the two people actually are able to come together to realize the "Undeniable" love that keeps pulling them together, and which they cannot fight. Each subsequent book in this series just gets better and better. Bravo, Madeline Sheehan!! Bravo!! I shall await the release of Undying. I will never get enough of Deuce and his boys and their old ladies.

    Over the reminiscing

What I love about Eva and Deuce's story is that the story does not happen in flashbacks. This story was mostly reminiscing about past interactions. I wish she would have told the story from the beginning and moved forward. I hated that the moments between Dorothy and Hawk were few and far between, then, when they get their happily ever after, it's abruptly over and the epilogue is not even about them, it is a setup for Undying. After everything Dorothy has been through, she deserved more, a book dedicated to her romance.

I cried like an idiot in many parts especially in the clubhouse when Hawk was saying goodbye, can't say more than that. Hawk is amazing and a wonderful man. Despite what ZZ has done, we should not forget his love for Danny, how he brought her out of her sorrow and how she mistreated him. ZZ deserves his HEA. I don't know how the author is going to do that. Is Devin going to get his HEA?

I still love Madeline Sheehan and will probably purchase her next books in this series despite my disappointment in this book. I think many readers feel that way and have given her solid 5s for that reason, because of their loyalty to the series and author.

    Wonderful book

Let me say at the onset, NO BOOK comes close to Undeniable, but this one was REALLY good. I did not enjoy reading the epilogue, however. I didn't want to know what happens. The only bright side was to read that my ultimate dream man, Preacher would be having his story told soon. PLEASE make it a very long story!

I have to agree with a previous reviewer that there was not enough time with Dorothy and Hawk being together. It left me feeling unsatified at the end. Still, this is a great author and I love this series.

If you’ve enjoyed the other books in this series, you won’t be disappointed. If you haven’t read this series yet, you should. Unb-d tells the story of Dorothy, Jase and Hawk. I knew going into this that it was going to be emotional…and was it ever! I probably cried more than I didn’t. IDK what the right word is because it’s definitely not disappointment or criticism but I did expect more of a tug of war over Dorothy. Now having said that, I still wouldn’t change one damn thing about this book. Once again Madeline Sheehan takes us on an emotional rollercoaster like only she can. Life isn’t always kind or fair and neither is their story. But in the end, there’s hope for the future. One thing I really enjoy about this series is how time progresses. It makes storylines so much more believable. Still gotta love Eva & Deuce. Cox and Kami provide us with some much needed comic relief (did you really expect anything else?) NOW ZZ…at the end of UnA I wanted more of his story, by the end of Unb-d---yeah, not so much. Regardless of how I feel now I know that MS will find a way to suck me into his story much like she did with Dirty. I am very curious to see what’s in store for everybody in the last two books of the series. I can’t wait to see what secrets are revealed in Preacher’s book AND we get more Crazy Frankie¿---- HEY don’t judge me, show Crazy Frankie some love ;)

    - Tegen had been there, fighting my battles, defending my honor. That would end today. Today, I wouldn’t spend another minute hating myself for the sins of my past, but instead would draw strength from them. Today, a lot of things would end.

Cliffhanger. Sorry, but let's be truthful; this is not up to par with the others in this series. Yes, great storyline but much too much repetition and summary of the of the first 3 books. So in essence, little of new material. And the worse thing the author could have done was making it a cliffhanger which is detested by most readers. Ms. Sheehan needs to take as long as she needs before writing the next two books so that they can go back to being like the first three; great, out of the ordinary, stand alone-can't put down books!

    Must Read Debbie Sugar

I was undecided about this series. But thought I'd take a chance on it. So glad I did. I read an average of 3 to 5 books a week and this by far is one of the best. All I can say is WOW! Must read. Madeline has done a wonderful job with these books. It draws you in and you can't put it down. All 4 books are amazing.

Raw, real, unapologetic ¿ Madeline Sheehan consistently delivers

Raw, real, unapologetic … Madeline Sheehan consistently delivers again and again with her Undeniable series. In Unbeloved we get the story of how Dorothy ended up at the MC as an employee but then ends up in Jase's bed. Dorothy has traveled a very dreary road but has worked to bring herself out of it on the other side but still in a dreary world. I admire her perseverance to leave a loveless marriage and work to make a life for herself and Tegan. Jase is selfish, he is married with two daughters and really doesn't appreciate what he has so he pursues Dorothy. This fills part of Dorothy but leaves her empty at the same time and then one night with Hawk happens and something new is awakened in Dorothy. We know from the other books that Dorothy is shot in the head, how does this injury change everyone's precariously built lives? How do they survive this crazy tumult of emotions? This is rough journey to take but necessary to see how these lives intertwine and interact with everyone else at the MC. Once again beautifully written and crafted by Madeline Sheehan.
