    Bond, James & female!

    I enjoyed the few high heel series I read so Gemma's name caught my eye. I enjoyed this book & hope there are more. The characters are not as ditzy as the high heel series. I did not suspect the killer which is rare for me. There's potential for a great series.

    Really? Running in pumps?

    Quick read, a number of pages only half "full" so was shorter than the number of pages given. Odd.
    Moved quick and good summer read.

    This one definitely has a different feel from Ms. Halliday's oth

    This one definitely has a different feel from Ms. Halliday's other books, but the characters have the same smart, tough, independent yet very feminine qualities of her previous heroines. It's a page-turner with lots of twists and a surprise ending, true to form for Gemma! I've read it twice already and loved it even more the second time! This promises to be a really fun new series!

    Okay

    There is better grammar in this book than in the last book she wrote. Made reading the book more enjoyable. Likeable characters and decent plot.

    Somewhat entertaining

    While this was a quick entertaining book, it felt rushed and somewhat anticlimactic. If you go into it understanding that, then it was good.
