his romance does what Brooks does best--it mixes the utterly silly with the amazing emotionally powerful.
Those of you who have read her Cat Star Series will recognize all the signs in this contemporary romance.
Some of you will hate this book but others of you will adore it. I liked it. It made me laugh.
On the silly side, the hero's man part is very active. It is often in her face (he talks about this lol) and it like the cat aliens leaks a bit.
Our heroine falls and hits her head and has some very important memory loss.
The hero thinks the heroine is married. Big moral dilemma. She is not.
The emotionally powerful...
The leads adore each other as friends and then as lovers. The heroine's adult son is on the autism spectrum and mothering done in this book is excellent.
So, at your own risk, enjoy!

Cheryl Brooks knows how to write chacters her readers care about. I rooted for Miranda and Travis from the beginning. The characters were realistic and sympathetic. The sexytimes were hot and romantic. It is a pretty explicit read, like the author's previous books, but still manages to be romantic. I can't wait for Travis's book! Was this review helpful? Miranda Jackson still wears her wedding ring even though her husband died over 15 years ago. Farrier Travis York sees her every week when she come to his friend's for riding lessons. He has loved her from a distance even though she is about 10 years older than him. Miranda has had feeligs for the handsome, sexy Travis but is sure that the age difference keeps her from being 'in the running'. The characters are very likable and realistic peple. The plot is fun and the sexual tension keeps this story moving at a rapid pace. Once the two characters fully connect....WOW. One very hot, very enjoyable read! I am looking forward to the next two book in this trilogy (Uninhibited and Undeniable). Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
