    Great Book!!!

I think this book was very good. Melanie has something to do now instead of mopping around about Image. She can finally have her own horse to work with and get through to. I do think she should DEFINATELY leave Townsend Acres A.S.A.P. I do think it's too bad that they had to give some interest of Image's first foal to Bad...but it was worth it to make sure Image gets better AND lived. Those of you who don't like it you dont have to trash EVERY detail you don't like. It is fun though learning about old famous racehorses. So I think this book is pretty good. And I think Hi Jinx sounds like a great racehorse so I hope Melanie gets him to race cause I think he will be GREAT!!

    Why?

Ok whats up with the horses from the past thing. Duh aren't these books in these years and not long past time like in 1779? You know Parkers Passion that book well why in the wrold is there a western saddle and Christina in a racing helment? Western and racing are not the same thing you know. I'm not saying I hate these books it's just that the authors sould be more relistic.

    Man o war to seabiscuit

Seabiscuit is a descendant of Man o war so Hi Jinx has both Seabiscuit, and Man o wars genes. I personally loved this book and it was one of the best thoroughbred books I have red so far.

    eh it was ok

This book wasn't that bad actually. True the 'famous horses' thing is getting old fast but this book was worth reading for once. I just have one thing to say. Man o' War was the best racehorse ever and how dare they put him in a Thoroughbred book. I love Thoroughbred series but Man o' War is way better then any horse in the any of the books (and I am a die hard Image fan) I did like how Melanie got a life outside of horses though. I mean her and Kevin went to the soccer game and had fun and didn't se a horse the whole time! that really amazed me. e-mail me to talk about the books

Well, it could have been worse....

I just finished reading it, and I am DISAPOINTED. Can't the authors get off the famous horse theme? Can't they choose one author who's dedicated enough to actually read the series? They're getting payed, for crying out loud. They could atleast make the book worth that paycheck, not just pump out some badly written junk. Shape up, please. For the sake of the series.

    Great, But Image Rules!!

Image is totally cooool, but Hi Jinx is not really. i like it that Melanie doesnt give up, but i would get frustrated more than she did if i had a horse like Jinx. this book is pretty goood, otherwise, TB books rule!!!!!! Very coool series!!!! :)

    Something odd...

Did anyone else notice that when the review came out, Hi Jinx was a descendent of Man O'War and now it's Seabuscuit?! Someone is struggling to keep up with the mainstream...

    Just Like Them

I Love this series because they live just like me! Exept my boryfriends name is Jake! I have a racehorse and have ridden in a couple races at my home track in Kentucky! Look for me and 'One Of A Kind' for the Kentucky Derby and Triple Crown!
