Overview

Greg Cage’s life is more fulfilling than he ever could have imagined. He’s married to the love of his life, has an amazing son, and in a few short months, his family will grow again with the birth of his twin girls.

The past year has been a tough one for the Cage family, but they are now on the road to healing by learning to let go of the past and looking forward to their future.

When situations beyond his control threaten to take away so much of what Greg holds close to his heart, he has to learn that he doesn't always have the control he tries to maintain in their lives. Will he be able to handle the stress of knowing his wife and newborn daughters are beyond his protection?

Join the Cage family as they embark on yet another one of life’s journeys with a rambunctious four-year-old, pregnancy complications, and the fear of the unknown.

Will the love that Greg and Melissa share hold true as they fight to overcome the obstacles that face them?

This is the fourth or (3.5) installment in the Corps Security series.

This is novella for Cage and Melissa.

When a single second almost takes away all that Greg holds in his heart he breaks down. He needs his family and nothing is going to take them away from him.

You get a POV from Cohan in this story and it is freaking awesome.

This book if packed full of heartbreak but Greg will heal and grow during the story and it makes him a even better person.

Words can't describe how much I loved this book.  I'm so glad I started the series. I loved the writing style and the characters. I can't wait to read the next new thing from Harper.  I loved Greg's story and this just continued it. It was good to see the story line go on, I was happy to see another book in the series, but it wasn't really my favorite because I felt like I could have gone without it. But, I still soaked up every word!

Uncaged by Harper Sloan is a powerful novella.  Don't let the size of this one fool you, Harper Sloan packs this one full of punches.  I had to stop reading it in public so as not to make a fool of myself.  I went from laughing hysterically at the much loved, and missed, family antics, to crying like a girl.  Sloan really know how to pull out the full rainbow of emotions, and it is such a joy.  I love all of these characters and Sloan always delivers on the story line.  This is a fast paced, must read.

    short story

While this is a short story, it still adds to the plot lines. I'm not sure I want to be friends with these people based on all the bad things that happen to them. But would love to be part of the friendships they all have as well as the hot sex scenes.

Awwwwww. Man this was such a great book. Well written with an unseen twist. I cried and laughed while reading it. Hot, sexy and so touching to read. Loved the characters and plot in this one. Different seeing this story from the child's point of view but a great look at what I hope is more to come.

Greg Cage is seriously the most swoon worthy alpha male ever!

I didn't think Greg Cage could get any more awesome after reading Cage, the third book in the Corps. Security series. But Harper manages to make Greg even more swoon worthy and lovable in Uncaged. Greg and Melissa family is growing. Cohen is going to be a big brother soon and he is so adorable in his scenes. I thought this book would be a nice stroll through the park for this family. There is angst, near tragedy, and tears for this new family. But Harper pulls it all together again in the end. The Cage family manages to overcome every obstacle thrown at them and never keeps them down! I love that. I also love how freaking awesome Maddox Locke is in this book. You see the good man underneath all the emotional lock down he always has going on in the other Corps Security books. I cannot wait to get my hands on his book. Hurry Harper, write faster!

    Five friggin' stars from me!

This is the  Continuation of Cage (Corps Security, #3.5). So If you have not read the Series Please Don't read this until you do.
In the previous Book, Cage, we find out that Melissa is going to have Twins. In Uncaged we get to see how she's doing in her Pregnancy. And we also get some really Steamy Scenes... Harper Does not disappoint! The book had some really steamy parts and it also had some Angst. They balanced each other out. I really felt sorry for Cage. You Could feel your heat aching just from reading what he went through during that awful part in the book.
I really like that it had some MADDOX LOCKE in it. I love that man. I really enjoyed reading from Cohen's Point of view. I really Liked his Moments with MADDOX LOCKE. I really liked the bonding they have together.
Over all I really Liked this book. I recommend it to people who love Alpha males who show a caring side. And Mature audiences because this book/series has some very Steamy Scenes.

Lock me up and throw away the key…I’m a willing captive to the Corps Security Series. Uncaged is the novella to this series and focuses on the relationship of Cage and Melissa.

This story picks up where Cage’s book (#2) ended. Cage is adjusting to his new life and struggles with how to handle his alpha male personality when things are not in his control. The story is short but full of all the delicious alpha male angst and steamy love scenes starring the one and only triple threat. The rest of the characters make an appearance to keep the story flowing without a hitch. Sway has me in stitches as always with his banter.

Harper Sloan’s writing is so descriptive that you feel like you are in the moment. Even with this novel she doesn’t slack on giving a full novel experience. Her characters are realistic and well developed. Each character is an integral part of the story without being the main character. The supporting character’s do just that, support. From beginning to end the story flows from chapter to chapter and before I knew it I was at the end. That was the only disappointing part, the end. I didn’t want it to end. This book gave me what I needed to know about these characters lives and answered those unanswered questions. I was very fulfilled and content and I can’t wait for the next installment to the Corps Security Series. (Raps fingers on table) I’m waiting…patiently…sort of.
