Meet the Author

In 1987, Uncle John found himself stranded on his throne with nothing to read. That’s when he came up with the idea to launch a series of trivia books specifically tailored toward his fellow bathroom readers. He gathered together the best trivia writers he could find and charged them with the task of combing the worlds of science, history, sports, politics, and pop culture to compile dozens of interesting articles that could be absorbed in just a few minutes. Now, with more than ten million books in print and a membership base topping 40,000 loyal readers, the movement begat by Uncle John is stronger than ever.

    Very good listen

We listened to this on a long 4 hour drive, this definitly made the ride go a lot "quicker" then usual for us. It is amazing the things you learn, so many tidbits of info...

    Great for road trips!

My family and I were going to travel by van to New Jersey to visit family. I wanted a puzzle book to switch up with reading during the long trip. I looked at crossword, find-a-word and several other books and couldn't settle on just one genre. When I found this book, although not fond of the name of the book, I was thrilled to death! There were puzzles for everyone and we were even able to do a couple with the whole group! Can't wait to do another one - I'm not going to wait for the next road trip either!

    Misspelling of editor's name!!!

I think the book is fabulous -- but then, I edited it. And my name is spelled SPADACCINI -- not SPADACEINI. Glad to see it's available! Thanks, Stephanie Spadaccini

    Not a Kings ransom

When you are on the throne, you need some wisdom to fall back on, comes specially equipped with a built in jester. I'm sold on the entire series.
