This is a very interesting read. You are first introduced to John and his situation, then you are surprised with the vast knowledge of the early church and what happened to the disciples. One of the most surprising things for me was The Didiche/Didache,that was my first time hearing about the text.

There have been too few books that I have been able to find about Joseph of Arimathea, but those few have been very good. Especially Glastonbury by Donna Crow. Hers was like a whole history and my wife and I loved it as we have been all over the Glastonbury area and have read the booklets provided there. I have no doubt that Joseph was the Uncle of Jesus Christ and once you visit that hallowed location you know where the first wattle church was that Joseph built after the Resurrection. The autho

It has been a long time since a novel held my attention to the end. This book is amazing in scope and the amount of research that went into it bogles my mind! I have always wondered what happened to Jesus after his temple experience at age 12 until He began his ministry. I also wanted to know what happened to those who followed him after the Bible ends the story. You will love the stories about Matthias wanting to Serve the new King and I am sure you will want to share these stories with your children and grandchildren. Highly recommended from this unknown author, I have a feeling we will hear from him again and I hope we do!

I have read many Christian Fiction Books over the years but this is the most original story to come along in my lifetime. The research on the characters is staggering and the story of Matthias should be a classic! I would recommend this book highly as a must read!
