    Excellent Lessons for Living

This book took less than 2 days for me to devour. In the days of spoiled, modern athletes (see Randy Moss), it is nice to see star athletes that really do lead exemplary lives. The Griese family shows that strong faith and family values can overcome any adversity in life.

    Undefeated: the Griese Story

I very much enjoyed reading 'Undefeated'. The book is very well-laid out in a very interesting and readable form by co-author Jim Denney. It is at once, inspirational and informative. It pursues the parallels formed by the football careers of Bob and Brian and the problems encountered with Bob at ABC covering his son's games for Michigan. It talks about the spiritualness of the family's difficult endurance of their wive-mother's five-year fight with cancer which ultimately took her young life. Bob and Brian courageously reveal much about their personal, religious and emotional lives. The content is just the thing good movies are made of. You may conclude as I did that this world is a better place because of people like this Griese family.
