I bought this book specifically for taking with me on short plane rides. I have read (I think) every Hercule Poirot book written by Agatha Christie with the exception of "Curtain". I just can't read of Hercule Poirot dying. This book is filled with short stories and fascinating little mysteries. A great book to take on plane rides or anytime you need a minute to get away. I love these little stress relievers.

I very very much enjoy the regular long fiction Hercule Poirot novels by Agatha Christie so I was really quite surprised at how much I disliked this short story collection. The first one is quite long and it was quite good for a bit, but the ending was very cheesy. I could not even follow the second one, the whole case and how Hercule solved it just seemed to crazy fast to me and I couldn't really follow the "logic" behind it, I stopped reading halfway through the 3rd story. Sadly, I have no motivation at all to finish the stories, I am quite disappointed so far. I recommend sticking to her regular books, there is just so much more going on, and passing up on her short stories. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
