    Better than the first!

I read Bella Andre's fire fighter series and was quite impressed with the action and romance. Then I was introduced to Ms. Davis. The first book was awesome. Well, this woman can write romance. Romance with suspense and humor. Howard and Kat are a remarkable couple, Zack and Cori are on fire!!!
I have yet to read the third book in the series, however I am looking forward to each singeing page.
    Great read!!!!

    a terrific action-packed romantic thriller

Firefighter Zack Knight accidentally runs his car into the SUV owned by Corrine Shannon. He is all apologetic; so much so the nursing school student and exotic dancer Cori thinks he is cute and sweet.-------------

The second time Zack and Corrine meet, he has not run into her tail. Instead he finds her SUV half teetering over the edge of a bridge. He rescues her and they are attracted to one another. However, they have no chance together as each has impossible encumbrances weighting them down. Even when he moves in with her, he has doubts they can make especially after he learns of how they are linked.-------------

The latest Firefighters of Station Five (see TRIAL BY FIRE) is an exhilarating romantic mystery starring an intriguing lead couple who are a 200 proof heat duet even when she thinks he is cute in a virginal way. The story line is filled with action as a nasty villain keeps heroic Zack busy almost as much as Cori does. Zack brings freshness to the role of firefighter lead hunk and champion as Jo Davis provides a strong entry with UNDER FIRE, a terrific action-packed thriller.----------------

If you love suspensful romance -- you'll love this debut novel from the Firefighters of Station Five. This is one of my favorite novels of the series. I was obviously attracted to the cover, but the material is even better. Cori and Zack's story is one that will keep you on the edge of your chair. Full of surprises and steamy hot romance, you won't be dissapointed. There's plenty of action and thrills involved as well, which overrules the generic romance novel tale. I've read this book over and over again, and every time I love it and I never get bored with it! Definitely worth the buy. PS: if you liked this novel, check out the other Station Five stories. One for each hottie. They're all amazing!!

    Under Fire

I didn't like this one as much as the 1st one in the series. I found her to be somewhat annoying. I still cried in spots and it had some suspence and I still recommend it.

    Under Fire

This is the second book in the series.
It is the story of Zach and Corrine. I really loved how the book started out and how they met. It was very touching. The story however turned into more of a suspense story instead of a romantic "Fireman" novel. There wasn't a "fireman's story" in this book. I was disappointed in Zach character as he was wrote as a "weak" person in my opinion. After reading the last book Trial by Fire and how strong Howard's character was and the romance between him and Kat, I was very disappointed in how weak Zach and Corrine's story became. I am hoping the third book picks up the excitement and romance that the first book had. I will read on.

This book is hot hot hot. And every bit as good as the first book. The plot and characters are well written. And the Romance is off the wall hot. I look forward to the third.

    Jo Davis delivers another scorcher!

In UNDER FIRE, Jo Davis takes us back to Station Five and the firefighters of Team A. This time our hero is Zack, the beta member of the group. But don't let his quiet demeanor and intellect fool you. Inside beats the passionate heart of a lover, and when he gets his woman, boy do those flames ignite! When Cori is in jeopardy, Zack's inner alpha male kicks into high gear to protect her, no matter the danger to himself.

Just like in TRIAL BY FIRE, Davis' first book in the series, UNDER FIRE delivers intense sensual encounters and some intriguing sexual scenes that will make you rethink the purpose of some rooms in your own house!

    Finally!

I think she's finally done it! For years I have been searching for an author who can successfully pull off romantic suspence (or just plain romance) with our heros: Firefighters. The characters are memorable and we can emphathize with them. The plot has plenty of action and just enough mystery, and the ending keeps you guessing. Not badly done!
