This a fun and educational book for kids. The story is set in Korea and is centered around school kids that solve a crime spree in their area. Throughout the book the reader is treated to some fun data about Korea and it's culture. I appreciate the way Alice E. Smith sees the world through the eyes of the children. She really captures their simplicity and the way they are awestruck by the world around them. Being an educator in Korea really helped her to develop a story that educates as well as entertains. Alice is well-traveled so I hope to read more stories about other kids throughout the world! Review by Mick McArt Author, Tales of Wordishure www.wordishure.com

The author's personal experiences as an international teacher add depth and style to this young adventure book. Her vivid descriptions of South Korea are woven beautifully through the mysterious storyline. Although the book is written for youth, it's a great read for any age. My four kids (6-13)loved hearing it read to them aloud and so did I!
