Shannon Donnelly's writing has won numerous awards, including a RITA nomination for Best Regency, the Grand Prize in the "Minute Maid Sensational Romance Writer" contest, judged by Nora Roberts, RWA's Golden Heart, the Laurel Wreath, the Winter Rose, the Bookseller's Best, and multiple finalists in the Holt Medallion, the Colorado ACE, the Golden Quill, and others. Her work has repeatedly earned 4½ Star Top Pick reviews from Romantic Times magazine, as well as praise from Booklist and other reviewers, who note: "simply superb"..."wonderfully uplifting"....and "beautifully written."

In addition to her Regency romances, she has had novellas published in several anthologies,
has had young adult horror stories published and is the author of several computer games.     Excellent read

    I enjoyed this thoroughly! Filled with emotion, it pulled me in. No steamy scenes, just references to them, which I much prefer. Sex doesn't mean romance, and I'm glad to have found an authoress who understands that!

    752 pages of a love story

    Arranged marriage with true love at the end- Shannon Donnelly can realy tell a story of romance. Pudgie

    Heart felt and addictive

    The emotions of this story are so real and raw you will be sucked into the store of intigue deception and love realized in hearts that have been hurt by love and a heart that believes that no one could ever love her. A truly enjoyable read. Once i picked it up i could put it down.^_^ i applaud this work and if you are looking for a romance at christmas this is a great read.
