What People Are Saying

Kevin Small
Wow, what a book! Matt's passion for 'real' sports stories, and especially real Philly sports stories, are on full display. (Ursinus Men's Basketball Coach Kevin Small)
Larry Kane
You won't get these stories anywhere else. Matt Leon has woven the real fabric of sports, not the celluloid stories of overpaid and marginal stars, but the true grit of athletics in America. Matt's book will give you chills as you read the irony, the courage and the raw talent of Matt's world. I love this book! (Larry Kane, Longtime Philadelphia Anchorman and Author)
Tom Shirley
Matt Leon has done a tremendous job covering sports for KYW in and around the tri state area for a number of years. I am truly honored to a part of "Under Your Nose", the first literary work of my good friend. You will enjoy his unique ability to reveal seldom told stories that are record breaking, heroic and also funny. A great book from an even better person. Enjoy. {Tom Shirley - Athletic Director and Head Women's Basketball Coach at Philadelphia University (Also in the book)}

    What garbage!

    This was the worst sports book I've ever read...and I've read hundreds.

    The stories were boring and the writing was awful! Has this guy ever written a book before?

    Hopefully he doesn't write another one!

    Great All Around Sports Book

    This book is a very well written, well thought out collection of stories that you are not likely to find anywhere else. It is a good read whether you are a fan of Philadelphia sports or not. Mr. Leon does a great job of capturing the passion of his subjects and transferring that passion to the page. It is my hope that Mr. Leon take his nose to other cities to find more stories that we may not yet know!
