    A wonderful story of the love between a man and a woman, a man and a man, and a woman and her two men. Highly recommend, a MUST buy and a re-read.

    Lauren did such a wonderful job of taking the old class distinction prejudice, redefining it and putting it into the future. I have to say up front that it is a menage but it is not the conventional menage and it is so much MORE than that. It is the story of Ash, from the upper class, forced by family and social conscience to marry the "right" girl. And being the typical man that he is, he thinks he can "keep" the heroine Sera. What a bonehead!! Needless to say, that didn't go as he planned. Because Sera is such a strong heroine she wouldn't accept that from Ash so she left him, to spend quite a long time trying to recover and then trying to keep her feelings numb. Ten years later enter Ash and his second in command Brandt. Brandt is the classy, elegant foil to Ash's rough, outspoken demeanor. But Brandt has some wonderfully rough edges in all that elegance! He is the buffer to the hurt and hate that first runs through Ash and Sera. He then becomes the bow that ties them all together. Sera is so strong, but with a bruised and vulnerable heart, I couldn't help but understand and sympathize with her. And Ash and Brandt were such strong alpha males, they made me angry, laugh, cheer and love with them both. This was so much a story of old love and rediscovery.(Ash & Sera) Of new love and trust.(Brandt & Sera) Of deep respect and great affection.(Ash & Brandt)

    Oh, and in case you like your story with a little bit more than "just" the erotic romance, than this is definitely the story for you! It has family, enemies, action, adventure and intrigue. This is a MUST buy for everyone's TBB list!!

    a refreshing second chance at love science fiction romance

    For the past decade Federation Subcommander Sera Ayers has loathed but lusted over Ash Walker who after the sex of a lifetime dumped her to settle on a First Families politically arranged marriage. She detests herself over the fact that she wants him yet also wants to kick his butt in as she has since they first met.

    The brass assigns Ash, whose marriage is dead, and his friend Brandt Pela to go undercover to infiltrate Imperialist sympathizers and learn of their seditious plots. He knows he and Brandt need a cover from someone who can take care of herself. They ask Sera to join the team as their concubine. Reluctantly she agrees, never anticipating the sensual pleasure two hunks can provide a woman in heat

    UNDERCOVER is a refreshing second chance at love science fiction romance with the unique twist of a ménage a trois rather than the usual two suspects coming back together. The triangule is hotter than Mercury as Sera and Ash overcome their volcanic past with Brandt adding spice to the mix. Although the undercover mission serves more as a backdrop to the trio¿s tryst, sub-genre fans will enjoy visiting the torrid Dane Known Universe.

    I enjoyed reading this book.

    I have enjoyed most of Lauren Dane's books. I find that she writes strong characters. She also makes them real for a reader. This was a book that I added to my permanent library.
