Overview

The Suburban Noize roster gets together with plenty of like-minded rebellious cottage-industry hip-hop crews and parents and snooty tastemakers run away in horror, leaving only the true Subnoize Souljaz to revel in such mayhem. In other words, if your collection is free of the Kottonmouth Kings, the Insane Clown Posse, and Tech N9ne, this set is just too much of a whirlwind to consider, but fans who dug the Kings' reggae-fied favorite "Boom Clap Sound" get to hear it with the emphasis on the Mac Miller-like Chris Webby, while the Tech N9ne faithful get a little reminder of where his brand of dark rap got its start as the Strange Music head collaborates with the legendary X Clan. Kids get to feel the burn of tagging their MP3s with three or four artists per track while detractors and the parents of America get more irresponsibility and destruction than they can handle, since Suburban Noize collabos mostly come off as pumped-up freakish frat parties with the occasional anthem ("What We Are") thrown in for good measure.
