If you like your naval fiction without a suffocating sugarcoat and battlesplatter you are well served with the 4th installment of Jan Needle's 'William Bentley' series. Realistic, plausible, deep characters the reader cannot fail to care for and still very suspenseful. The 18th century is better resurrected before the reader's eye than in comparable titles. Especially far above the run of the mill flash-bang age of sail books. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
