My son was finishing a marine unit in school around his birthday, so I brought this book to his 1st grade classroom as a present. The teacher & the kids all loved this book, as they were learning about the subject in depth (no pun intended) at the time. The pictures are really beautiful & there is information on each of the featured animals. The kids liked it so much & referenced it so much that I bought a copy for our house as well.

Wen I read this the snapshots of the animals was amazing, and I would recommend this to 6-20 yer olds and teachers this will encourage students to study animals and read.

It has great details about the animals, WONDERFUL photos of them, and a clear guide in the back with all of the names and pictures, if you want to look them up when you see a picture of an animal you don't know. It is written for kids, but it is also quite informative (ages 8 and below).

Bought this for my son who is 3 and loves ocean animals and life. I can't count the times we've read the book and he's picked up and remembered something he read. Will look for other books like this to add to his collection.
