## OK, there are so many things wrong with this book, BUT there are so many things right with it. It's hard to put into words. God, the first 1/3 of the book I hated Slade. He was a cocky, arrogant douchebag who scr*wed anything (and I mean anything) in a skirt. Wherever and whenever. Night after night. As a matter of fact, he meets the heroine as he's 'doing' a chick in a bar bathroom. And immediately she wants him. Gross. You couldn't pay me enough to go near this guys man parts. Anyway, everytime these two are talking, different women keep throwing themselves at him. At one point he agrees to a threesome with two women right in front of the heroine. Again, gross. How could anyone want someone so used? HOWEVER, she's no picnic either. She's drunk for half the book (someone get this girl to a meeting) and cries way too much. After a while Slade mellows and falls for her and does a complete 180. He adores her and will do anything for her. And this part I love. When they are playful together or when she brings him and his buddies lunch at the office or cooks for him. Their love for each other was fierce and I love that but I just can't stand man-sluts and women who can barely stand because they are sloppy drunk (hence only 3 stars).

This is the first book I've read by this author and I did enjoy it. BUT....I think it's another damned serial as the end says, "Want more more of Sam and Slade's story?" It was 350 pages and did have an actual happy ending so I thought it was good. Slade is a very bad boy who falls hard for Sam and instantly changes his ways. Sam is whiny and has low self-esteem and yet gets this sexy man to fall for her. The sex was kinda tame but still hot and it was fun reading about their courtship. If the next book was about Josh and Courtney with Slade and Sam as supporting characters I would buy it but if it's just more of Sam and Slade I'll pass. Did I mention...I HATE SERIALS !!

Samantha is a feisty, take no prisoners kind of girl. Slade is a typical bad boy who is brought to his knees by this "angel" he talks to on the phone. The back and forth is witty and hot. When they come together... sparks fly!
This is an enjoyable read with steamy scenes, romance, and even heartbreak. So well written you will feel as though you've been sucked right into the pages.
You won't regret this purchase.

The main character Samantha was horrible. There was nothing special about her. It is hard to believe that a whinny drunk could change Slade's whore-ish ways. Honestly Sam was basically the same as all the other annoying girls that Slade slept with.

The sample alone is horrible. I cant imagine anyone liking someone so completely crude and full of himself. All i could imagine is this guy picking up anything with two legs, maybe even 4. Just gross. No morals. How can any woman fall in love with that?

I absolutely LOVED this book. Shantel is an amazing author. She has a way of making you feel like you're actually a part of the story. The characters are perfect. The chemisrt between Slade and Sam is off the charts HOT! The secondary character are also perfect and an essential part of bring this story together and making it so amazing. I love a story that makes you feel such an overwhelming rush of emotions. This one made me laugh out loud and cry the ugly cry. Lol. And I loved every minute of it. I highly recommend this book to everyone. This a beautiful story of love, romance, family and friendship. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. I gave this book 5 "Angelic" Stars.
This is book one in the Undescribable Series.
This is Sam "Angel" and Slade's story.
Samantha-- Sam, has lost everything. Her father, her Mother so she moves with Jax to a new city after she graduates college. She thinks she is in love, but Jax is an ass plain and simple. And although it takes her a little bit to figure this out she does. He is a cheater and a manipulator. I didn't like him the moment he was introduced. Sam is amazing and strong, and has been through so much in her young life. But she is determined to live her life, she may be lonely, but she will carry on and live her life the best way she can.
Slade is a playboy, plain and simple he sleeps around with everyone and feels no remorse the next day, he is a love em and leave em kind of guy, that is until he hears her beautiful voice. Sam calls to find out where Jax is and he just happens to be at Slade's house. Then when Sam goes out on the town with her friends, she excuses herself to go and use the ladies room, and when she comes out of the stall she finds Slade and another woman in a compromising situation. Sam doesn't know who he is, Slade doesn't know who she is. He sees her and the first thing he thinks is she is an Angel. And he wants her. She sees him and the first thing she thinks is I want him.
Out of the bathroom and getting ready to both make their move, someone talks to them right before they are going to kiss, and introduces them and that is where it all changes. Sam knows who Slade is, he is known for his playboy tendencies and the things the does. Slade knows this is the woman who called him trying to find out where her boyfriend was. Does that stop him from pursing her? No that makes him want her that much more, yes Angel now :) has put up her walls and has refused to let him in, but Slade is not going to give up. He wants her.
Slade believed that he never wanted to fall in love, Sam/Angel doesn't want to fall in love. Can love happen so fast? Well it does with these two and it sets the pages on fire! Slade was half the man he was before he met Sam and he knows it. He gives her everything and more. He is a strong, alpha male who is use to getting whatever he wants whenever he wants it, but Sam is not that type of woman, she is strong and independent and determined to do things on her own, without ANYBODY standing in her way. What happens when these two worlds collide?
Be ready for an explosive, sexy, steamy read! These two are meant to be together, they are meant to live a life finally where they will both be happy.
I loved this book, Slade was such an amazing main Character, and it was so amazing to watch him turn into the man that he was suppose to be all along, it just took a good woman to bring it out of him. he is dominant, and sweet. He loves with his whole heart and then some, he gives Angel 100% of his Body, his heart, and his soul. He gives her whatever she needs, even when she thinks that she doesn't need it.
Sam/Angel I loved her as soon as she was introduced, I loved her feistiness and how she wanted to always do everything on her own. She didn't want anyone dictating how she should or would live her life. I wanted to ring her neck a couple of times, and say to her What is wrong with you? But I honestly understood why she was the way she was. And she had been hurt so many times, and had been left by the people who are suppose to never leave you. So she was damaged, her heart was not whole. So she did the only thing she knew how to survive and that was to put up walls to protect herself so nobody could get it and hurt her.
I cannot wait to read the next book in this Series, I know with the way these two light up the pages and how stubborn that they both are that I am going to be in for the ride of my life.
Thank you Shantel for a beautiful story, about love and life, and what happens when life gives you what you don't deserve, but you fight back and get what you should have had all along. <3

I found myself angry at times wondering why samanatha was so so whinney. I find it hard to believe slade would be able to just give up his old life style, but love the story anyways...i laughed, was angry and cried.. i hope book two ends well.

Ok, so I'm a bit conflicted about this book. Mostly because I read it very quickly; it totally sucked me in, but at about 65% in it a got a bit tedious. I mean, maybe I'm the wrong age group for this book, since I'm 35, but there's only so many accounts of drunken debauchery that I'm really into reading about. Dear characters: bad things happen when you drink, so you need to stop.
There, I feel better.
Now, the overall plot to the book was pretty good. Womanizing bad-boy (Slade) meets sweet girl next door type (Sam). I liked Slade, but I didn't really like Sam all that much. I mean, she's a really damaged person and at the end of the book when you find out why...it was a letdown for me. It just felt REALLY manufactured and unrealistic. And completely rushed. Some of the stuff that we come to find out later had nothing to do with the overall plot could have been left out, like the bar fights, and more time spent on the emotional resolution that should have been the cornerstone of the book. Yeah, that didn't happen. It just threw it all together in about the last 3%. I mean, I can't tell if this was a cliffhanger or not, that's how it left me. Is there going to be another book?
I will say this: the author can write. It's obvious. But this does not feel like a final draft to me. There were MANY editing mistakes that really detracted from the book overall. I’m not normally a stickler for things like that, but it really bothered me here. The flow of the story, the grammar and word usage really needs to be fixed. Fix those things, this is easily a 4 star book, maybe more.
Overall, I did like this book. As I said, even with some of the negatives, I read it fast and found it engaging. As it stands now, I give it 3 stars. If there’s a follow up, I’ll read it!
