Undiscovered Soul

All Music Guide - Stephen Thomas Erlewine
Richie Sambora's second solo album Undiscovered Soul is a more ambitious affair than Stranger in This Town, finding the guitarist trying on a wide variety of styles. Not all styles are fit Sambora's bluesy hard rock foundation, but it's interesting him to try out blues-rock, power ballads, pop
ock, arena rock and Stonesy rock, even if he's not always successful. Sambora has a pleasantly bland voice and knows how to craft a hard rock song, even if he doesn't always come up with a good hook. Simply fabulous!

This CD was awsome! I love it to death. I listen to it everywhere: in my room, at the computer, in the car. . . it's a great album and just about anyone would LOVE it!

    Undiscovered Soul Man

This album is amazing. There are very few artists that can release an album where every song is worth hearing. I have this album with me everywhere and I can't help but put it on whenever I see it. Richie is a great talent and while he is hardly undiscovered, he certainly deserves more album time with Bon Jovi. Way to go & keep it coming!!!

    Not just a guitar hero

I first heard Richie Sambora play when my fiance took me to see him at the Shepherds Bush Empire in London. I fell in love with the music then. Undiscovered Soul is haunting, beautiful, brilliant and enchanting. You will be a willing captive from the start of Hard Times Come Easy until the echo of Richie's blinding trademark guitar fades into silence from the Title track. Undiscovered Soul has it all, strong lyrics, beautiful vocals and, of course, perfect guitar. It will make you laugh, make you cry, make you think and make you want to play it again, and again and again.
