This genuinely funny and thoughtful third Secrets in Silk Regency romance (after Unraveled by the Rebel) is a delightful addition to the series. Amelia Andrews is completely ill-suited for David Hartford, the Earl of Castledon. She’s young, spirited, and in love with Viscount Lisford, a dangerous rake. Castledon is stoic and solitary, still haunted by the memory of his late wife. He’s determined to find a mother for his daughter this Season, while Amelia is determined to reform the scoundrel Lisford into a proper husband. Amelia and Castledon are shocked when feelings blossom between them, while the wretched Lisford plots to steal Amelia away. High-spirited heroine Amelia is slightly reminiscent of Austen’s Emma, full of youthful energy that propels the romance and charms the taciturn hero. The elements of blackmail, vengeance, and forbidden love weave their way into the story, making this an outstanding page-turner that lacks only a conclusive resolution to a few loose strands of plot. I loved and enjoyed reading the awesome, beautifully written, heartbreaking, romantic, historical love story, Undressed by the Earl by Michele Willingham that I received free from Goodreads First Reads.
Amelia wants to marry Lord Lisford and be a matchmaker for her older sister, Margaret, and David Harford, the Earl of Castledon. Margaret is in love with a commoner, an inappropriate man for someone of her class and David and Margaret are only friends. Amelia finds out that Lord Lisford is not the man she thought he was and does not want anything to do with him anymore. David Hartford is a widower who deeply loves his late wife but since he has a young daughter, he needs a motherly touch to bring her up as a lady. David finds himself being attracted to Amelia but knows she is too young and impulsive. Amelia's attraction for David grows even though she knows that Margaret is better suited for him. When Amelia finds herself in a compromising position, David comes to her rescue.
Read the highly recommended, amazing, romantic love story of Amelia and David in Undressed by the Earl by Michelle Willingham.

Secrets in Silk Book Three.  I highly recommend reading the first two books (Undone by the Duke and Unraveled by the Rebel) before this one, as the stories share some of the same timelines.

David Hartford, the Earl of Castledon, needs to find a new wife to mother his eleven year-old daughter, Christine.  Amelia is convinced that her sister, Margaret, is that woman.  Known for her matchmaking, Amelia sets out to get her sister and David together.  Meanwhile, she is trying to catch a Viscount as her own husband, even though everyone around her says he's a rogue and a scoundrel.

If you're looking for a story about two people trying to find their own way in life and overcoming all obstacles, this is the book for you.

Loved this book. Love the series. I have been waiting for Amelia's story. I was a little exasperated with David. How could he not give up
on his grief and see how perfect Amelia is for him right from the start? Some people are clueless.
I am really excited for Margaret's book.

I had a little hard to to going with this one, but boy once i go

I had a little hard to to going with this one, but boy once i go into it, it was hard to put down. I really loved the heroine Amelia. The banter between David and Amelia was fantastic. Laughed a few times at them. Amelia believes she knows who she wants to marry, but sometimes what we want isn't what we need. Poor Amelia soon learns of her mistake in groom material. The you have the earl David. The poor widower who can't fathom of living his life and finding happiness again, but he didn't count on Amelia. though these two didn't plan on it they found themselves wed. Amelia has a rocky start at Castledon. Can Amelia find a HEA with David and his little girl or will David's heart be forever closed off?

Wow! Just Wow! This is a wonderful book to read. Everything flow

Wow! Just Wow! This is a wonderful book to read. Everything flows so smoothly. There are happy parts and quite a few not so happy moments but it wouldn't be the book it is without hard times. There is so much action in this story it's hard not to give away spoilers. Amelia has helped her family with delivering Aphrodite's Unmentionables. Two of her sisters have made good marriages so now it is Margaret and her turn. Amelia has her sights set on a Rake and knows she can reform him. Then she realizes she is wrong and is helped by David, the Earl of Castledon. They are all trying for what they want and it is so interesting to see how they come about. I literally could not put this book down. You come to a point where you think you can stop for a moment and it pulls you in again. I hope you will enjoy it. I foresee lots of rereading!
