"Passionate and stunning...Cook has stripped the romance novel down to its glorious bare essentials...superb story, authentic characters, and profound passion...a novel perfect in its vulnerability. Undressed exposes Kristina Cook for what she is--an original storyteller with a talent that needs no dressing up!" --Romance Junkies

In the course of a day, Colin Rosemoor has managed to lose everythinghis reputation, his standing in society, his club affiliation, and the affections of the woman hed planned to marry. But when Colin enlists his friend, Hugh Ballard, to help him win back his ladyand his honora chance meeting with Hughs long-lost sister changes everything.

Brenna Maclachlan is perfectly satisfied living on the highland estate in Scotland where she was raised. She spends her days managing the manor, her nights gazing at the stars in her observatory. But when an English earl and his wife appear on her doorstep and convince her that shes really their daughter, Brenna finds herself whisked off to London where shes completely out of her element. While most of the ton finds Brennas independent streak and headstrong manner wholly unacceptable, Colin finds her refreshingand irresistible.

With Colins sister Jane playing matchmaker, the pair find themselves drawn to one another, unable to resist their growing attraction. Will secrets, lies, and circumstances keep them apart, or will they find themselves undone by love?

Editorial Reviews

RT Book Reviews - Kathe Robin
"Another delightful, fun and sensual romance featuring an English rogue and a bold Scottish lassie who find love crosses all boundaries. Even with its lighthearted plotline, there is a depth of emotion and passion in Cook's tale that's sure to pull on your heartstrings and place her next to Julia Quinn and Stephanie Laurens on your shelf!"
Booklist - Diana Tixier Herald
"Readers will enjoy Cook's latest lively Regency-era romance featuring a feisty, intelligent heroine."

I would love to see these characters again in the future. I hope they have a son or maybe 2 children or more with a romance story of how they meet their life partners and care for their lands and crofters. It's refreshing to see a scots heroine as a land owner in a romance. I so like the hero's family, and enjoy all of the interaction with the main characters and this wonderful family. The best romance book ever to be read! Almost the first brilliant writer to A.) Use dialect in a romance novel that B.) has amzing stituations! Collin, the out-of-the-ordinary hero, was my favorite character, I think EVER! The fact that his mess-up was something that wasn't exactly fixed at the end was a nice touch that made the romance feel so real.
