Please tell me the sequel is available 'yesterday'......
This is one of the sweetest love stories I've read in a long time. Ryan and Allee's story makes you soar with their
love, sob with the depths of their despair, and feel every emotion Ryan and Allee feel. I was not prepared for the ending that ripped my heart out and am very glad there is a sequel. Nelle, please get a move on and tell us the rest of the story.  Thank you for a very good reading experience.

Undying Love is the story of two people from completely opposite

Undying Love is the story of two people from completely opposite sides of the track.  Ryan Madewell has grown up lacking nothing, except his father's attention.  He's rich, is an aspiring writer, and is being groomed to take over his father's business one day, something he isn't sure he wants to undertake.  Despite all that, Ryan is not snobby at all.  Allee Adair has grown up completely differently from Ryan.  Her parents died when she was young, she has been in and out of foster care, and has had to work her butt off to get where she is at.  She currently is employed at a museum, which is where she meets Ryan.  Needless to say, she makes quite an impression on him, even though she isn't trying.  Allee has her own secrets though...secrets she doesn't want to come to light. As their relationship progresses, they come face to face with Ryan's dad, his ex-girlfriend, and the secrets Allee has been keeping.  Will love find a way past all of the obstacles, and will it be enough to sustain them if there is nothing else left?

Undying Love is told from Ryan's POV.  He is a great guy and seems to really care for Allee.  He's rich, handsome, and sweet.  I liked him, but I didn't fall in love with him.  He lacked that little something something that just sucks you in, and I will be interested to see how his character is developed in in the next installment.  Allee's character was from Queens, so she has the accent that goes along with that.  She is independent, stubborn, and used to being on her own and paying her own way.  Ryan's money isn't something that influences her in the slightest.  This is an erotic romance, so there are some really heated, sexy, romantic moments.  While the story was nice, I found the latter third of the story to be the portion that grabbed my attention and interest the most.  The ending is sweet, romantic, and sad, but ends really well and in such a way that the reader is left hopeful, encouraged, and looking forward to what happens next.

I was given the book in exchange for an honest review, and I’m going to give it my best shot. I wanted to love this book, I really did. While there were parts of it that really drew me in, there were other parts that left me feeling like something was just missing.

The story is told from Ryan’s POV, and I usually enjoy hearing the guy’s perspective. Unfortunately, being in Ryan’s head, I found him to be somewhat superficial and a bit of a misogynist. Still, when it came to Allee, he seemed to mellow. The author gives us a fairly good picture of Ryan’s perception of where he fits within the dynamics of his dysfunctional family. Maybe that’s why as much as I thought I really didn’t like Ryan Madewell, I couldn’t bring myself to NOT like him either. However, ambivalence toward a character is not always a desired response.

Since the book is from Ryan’s perspective, the reader never really gets to know much about who Allee Adair is except for what she shares, or what Ryan finds out, and she isn’t very forthcoming with information. Despite the mysteries that surround her, Allee seems to represent a refreshing sanctuary to Ryan from all that the Madewell dynasty represents. Perhaps that’s why when scandalous information about Allee comes to light, Ryan is willing to overlook it. Surprisingly, despite my ambivalence, I found myself hoping that the two of them could overcome the complications.

“Read it with a box of Kleenix®,” the author admonished. As much as I believed that I’d pretty much figured out the storyline based solely on her warning, I wasn’t quite prepared for my reaction. Nelle L’Amour treated a very delicate and difficult topic with great care and sensitivity, and even though I was prepared that there may NOT be a happy ending, I was pleasantly surprised at the way she transformed a potentially tragic circumstance into one of hope.

I’m giving this book 3-1/2 stars. I would have liked more character and scene development, but on the whole, Undying Love is a poignant and touching story that deserved to be told.
