About the Author

Born and raised in Central Maine, a genuine, dyed-in-the-wool Mainer (Mainiac, some would say). As of this writing, residing in Carrabassett Valley in Maine's western mountains, doing what I feel is good for me at the moment.
A professed wanderer and seeker, I have always been looking for what is next, what is just around the bend – be it on a trail, or within myself. I enjoy the outdoor sports – hiking and camping in particular – that Maine has to offer, but the most enjoyment comes from traveling. With that mind-set, it seems only natural that I would undertake a hike of the Appalachian Trail – the greatest (so far) journey of my life.
May there always be another path to walk, another mystery up ahead around the next bend, another opportunity to see what's out there – and in here.
