    An Unexpected Gem

After reading this novel I was surprised that I had not heard of this author before. Gilman does a beautiful job of relaying the story without being overly flowery and melodramatic. Yes, some parts are a bit hard to believe, but that is also part of the charm. Mrs. Pollifax is a wonderful character with many layers. I thouroughly enjoyed being taken on this adventure with her and look forward to reading the rest of the series.

    Mrs. Pollifax is Amazing!

I had read almost all the existing Mrs. Pollifax novels, but I could never manage to find the first one in any stores. When I finally did find it I devoured it within a day. I could not put it down. I was extremley happy to discover just how the delightful Mrs. Pollifax became a CIA agent. I also learned quite a few new things about her. She is a very realistic character, and one that almost every one can relate to. She is very resorceful, and at the same time very funny and sometimes a little naive. This book is sure to capture your intrest and keep it.

    Pretty Good

This book was very creative but i doubt that any random old lady would be able to walk into that office and 'acedentaly' get that job. Its not very realistic; like how she somehow becomes friends with the guards in Albainia. Also the author dosnt give a description of what dear old Mrs.polifaz looks like so i cant really get a good image of her. This book though did keep mr reading it; not just because i had to for an English report but because i wanted to see what oddly funny scheem she came up with next.
