Meet the Author

Reading has been an important part of Michelle Reid's life as far back as she can remember, and was encouraged by her mother who made the twice-weekly bus trip to the nearest library to keep feeding this particular hunger in all five of her children. In fact, one of Michelle's most abiding memories from those days is coming home from school to find a newly borrowed selection of books stacked on the kitchen table just waiting to be delved into.

There has not been a day since that she hasn't had at least two books lying open somewhere in the house ready to pick up and continue whenever she has a quiet moment.

Her love of romantic fiction has always been strong, though she feels she was quite late in discovering the riches Mills & Boon has to offer. It wasn't long after making this discovery that she made the daring decision to try her hand at writing one for herself, never expecting it to become such an important part of her life.

Now she shares her time between her large, close, lively family and creeping away to her quiet study to write whenever she gets the opportunity. But for a real escape from everything, she prefers to load up the car and drive off with her husband to the tiny white stoned cottage they have in the English Lake-district. It is both a romantic haven and the perfect base to go walking through some of the most beautiful scenery in England.

    Amnesia Games- Chapter One

    RING!!!!

Claire groaned as her alarm clock went off. She fell out of bed and hit the floor with a thump. "Ow." She mumbled. Claire Nicole Hansen lived an ordinary life like y other 25-year-old. Gaming and Youtube. The short woman looked at her bed head hair. Blonde pieces stuck out everywhere and brown roots matched as they were curly. Grabbing her brush, she started to work on the tangles. "Stupid hair." She growled. After what seemed like forever, he hair was tamed into a simple braid tossed over her shoulder. Quickly, she changed into a 'The Fault In Our Stars' sweatshirt and black skinny jeans. As she laced up her teal sneakers, her Irish wolfhound, Mitzy, and husky beagle mix, Zach, greeted er with barks and licks of affection. Hello, you rascals!" She laughed. "I gotta get ready for work!" She said, finally pushing Zach off. (Meanwhile in the Grumps House) Barry sighed as he got up. The brunette went downstairs d decided to Tweet. As he was checking Twitter, h saw his buddy Arin Hansen jad retweeted something. 'Sup guys? Claire to say that a new video will be up! Guest star: Arin Hansen and Danny Avidan!' Barry looed at the username. 'Claire Bear'. Her profile pic was of two girls. A blonde about 25 with blonde hair, glasses and wearing a white knee length dress. The other was a girl about 26 with darker skin and black hair. She wore a darker blue dress down to her feet. 'Wow.' He thought. Just then, he started following her. "Hey, Barry." Danny said. Danny Avidan was Barry's roommate. "Sup." Danny shrugged. The two decided to have breakfast and chatted a bit. Little did the three know they amd their friends would have to work together to survive one of the deadliest games ever.

    Love/Hate

I think I would be so frazzled spending time with the H/h. These two were at each others throats or in bed. The heroine had amnesia, from a car wreck, had been lucky to be alive, and was in a lot of pain, and missing for a year! The person who caused the events to happened escaped to Australia and was sooooo sorry. The Hero forgave so the heroine should too. I believe in forgiveness, but this was hard to accept. I guess I am not as saintly as our hero.
My biggest criticism of the book is that I have read many amnesia "romance" stories and This hero just was too pushy, too controlling and would think nothing of going to a business meeting after he brought the heroine back to the place where her mind would certainly play havoc. She was prone to black outs, couldn't walk very well but he leaves for a important meeting without anyone there. Oh well, He loves her.
I guess, I just didn't click with either of them but I learned to forgive my tresspassers!
