Well worth the time to read and absorb!

As a typical Grand father coming to terms with a much loved Grand daughter that is starting to exhibit some of the traits of Dyslexia, I am able to begin to learn what this means to a family unit and how all of the family members are involved and what we can do to support the parents and the child. This book is a necessary first step in the learning process and the realization that is involved in helping the child learn how to cope with life and the future.

    This book saved my family!

I bought this book by accident but it was the best thing that could have happened to my family. Thanks to this book, I changed my entire approach to my children's education (three children). The book is easy to read and provides an adequate amount of information to understand what is happening inside your child's brain and in the school system. I was able to make my children understand they were not dumb -- like their teachers were telling them. They are all successful adults with college educations now and I don't think we would be where we are without having read Unicorns Are Real.
