Book of color photographs by visual artist F. A. Arthur Rodriguez, of the visit to the United Kingdom by the artist and his family on September 13-26 2018. The book covers the city of London as well as our visit to Scotland and other locations in the United Kingdom. Our impressions of Edinburgh, Scotland was very positive. A very rich historical tradition from the people of Scotland. Our visit to the location of the Loch Ness Monster was very educational. Also, the city of Bath was very impressive and historical, its history dates back to the Roman times. The Roman Baths are a very popular tourist destination. It was difficult to edit this book to just few hundred photographs, because there is so much history there, that I couldn't stop taking pictures. I shot a couple of thousand pictures, and it was difficult to decided which to published. So, I decided to go for small details and architecture. Some of the Museums too, and store fronts. The doorways also attracted us, I could put a book together just with the doorways, fascinating. Our visit to Stonehenge was memorable, it was everything we expected to be. British history, another great tourist destination. To anybody reading this lines, we recommend at least once in a lifetime visit to Great Britain. F. A. Rodriguez.

About the Author

F. A. Rodriguez was born in the Dominican Republic, in 1945. In 1964 he emigrated to New York City, where he was a long time resident of Greenwich Village. There he met his wife in 1968, at the time of many social changes in the USA. In those days in the Village he forged friendships that still endured today. He also, fell in love with the visual arts, and is still a practicing artist. In 1969 he and his wife Angeline traveled in Europe for a period a nine months. Returning to the European continent in 1973, for a period of six months. A once in a lifetime adventure. The artist holds an Associated and a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts. His previous publications included: 1989: Museum of the Dominican Man - General Catalog; 2001: The Cosmic Ballet: Ink Drawings; 2002: The Hose Veeris Project: Selected Poems 1965-2001; 2010: Twin Towers Remembered: Photographs 1971-2000 (The book is part of the permanent collection of the National September 11, Memorial and Museum); 2011: My New York ; A Visual Memoir - 1971-2011; Oil Paintings, Drawings, Watercolors; 2016: The Completed 'Cosmic Ballet': Oil Paintings, Watercolors, Ink Drawings; 2018: Visual Social Commentary: Oil Paintings, Watercolors, Ink Drawings. His Art has been exhibited in Museums and Art Galleries.
