Over 200 World War I Aviators or their families were contacted. The result is information and photographs on 77 aeronautical wing badges, 32 collar insignia, and 23 sleeve insignia presented. Major Morris traces an individual aviator's career from 17 May 1917 through 14 February 1919. Included are copies of 24 original documents from the initial telegram, ordering Lt.     Wings of World War I

    An extremely well written book on the US Army Air Service Wings of World War I. Many of the wings were made by jewelers and were not offical. Maj Morris has tracked down so many different types and provided the best referance book for collectors
