Editorial Reviews

School Library Journal
Gr 6 Up—High school senior Cammie Morgan has survived incredible adventures alongside her best friends Bex and Liz at Gallagher Academy, a top-secret boarding school for girl spies. The signature lighthearted and fast-paced narration features a large cast of characters, but very little exposition. Readers are advised to start with I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You (Hyperion, 2006). In this final series installment, Cammie is bent on uncovering a cabal of villains known as the Circle of Cavan. Using stolen plans from super-genius Liz, the Circle of Cavan is hoping to start World War III and it's up to the jet-setting Gallagher Girls to stop it. Cammie engages in a daring global game of cat and mouse, traveling to Rome, Marseille, and a hidden government compound in the Arctic, juggling conflicts with her mother and boyfriend Zach along the way. Fans will enjoy the touching graduation scene, which brings the series to a satisfying close.—Madigan McGillicuddy, Atlanta-Fulton Public Library, Atlanta, GA
From the Publisher

* "This episode is nearly three hundred pages of perfection, and the only regret fans will have when they are done is being one step closer to the final installment of this outstanding series."-—VOYA, starred review

Readers will eagerly anticipate the next installment."—Publishers Weekly

Humorous, fast-paced fun."—School Library Journal

It is difficult to imagine what teen girl would not want to read-and reread-this second book in a butt-kicking series."—VOYA

I started this series when I was in 7th grade, because my school librarian would let me check out books she hadn't programmed into the system yet. I remember picking up "I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have To Kill You" because the name caught my attention. I never realized it was a series until about a year and a half ago when I was sent away to my aunts country house for the summer and searched it on my nook. I immediately fell in love with the series. It is amazing to see how far it has come. I loved how the stories progressed its never boring, and the characters/plots are never predictable....I mean I could have guessed Zach's Dad, but whatever....This series is a part of me. I feel like I know these people. I mean, I've been with them since OUR sophmore year together at the Gallagher Academy. I transferred when Macey did, you just never heard about me...(joking!) But I really can't believe it's actually over. I am an actual sophmore now and I can't say goodbye to Cammie or Zach or Bex or Grant or Liz or Jonah or Macey or Preston or Mr. Solomon or even Josh, I just can't imagine leaving the Gallagher Academy, I don't know how Cammie can do it.

When I was a freshman my best friend had a book report and she wan`t going to do it and being the nerd I am I said I would. I started reading cross my heart and hope to spy and then I realized there was more books so my sophomore year i finally read id tell you I love you but then id have to kill you and I was in love I re-read cross my heart an hope to spy. This serious has truly been amazing. I wish there was more I just want to thank ally carter for her amazing books. And thanks for making me think I am a sister because in my mind I am a apart of the sisterhood.

Wow. That's all I can say. I started this series in January and literally read the first 5 books in less than 2 weeks. I bought this book the day it came out and could not put it down. Wow. This was amazing. Everything about it was spectacular. All of the Zach moments wer perfect, and if it wasn't for Cammie, I would want him. There were numerous page turners and the book was nevet dull. Be ready for surprises!!! LOTS of surprises! Five stars seems too low for this book. The short story that came along with it was adorable! The ending was perfect. It wrapped up everything nicely, but still left room for people to think about an imagine scenes. This series has to be my favorite. If asked for my favorite book, I would give this whole series. I want to cry becaus it's over. I'll be rereading this whole series forever! This series, especially this book, is a must read!!!!<3

I really loved the whole series. The author never made any of the books boring. Sometimes there were big cliffhangers at the end of the books but I kind of grew up with this series. Since the Spring of my Freshman year I began reading this series. I remember how I will die to read the next but I had to wait years for the series to be complete. Now I am a freshman at University, and I got to read the final book of the series. I loved the ending. This is soooo rare because is been a long series and it still kept that good flow and characters progressed but didn't drastically changed over time. They became more mature just like I did. I wish there was another book just so I can keep growing with the characters!!! But it will suck to wait another year an so on for the books!! hahaha I am really proud of the author for making such wonderful story!!! I will miss Cammie!!!! DEFINITELY READ THE SERIES!!!

A LIST OF THINGS TO EXPECT WHEN READING THIS BOOK 1. You will not be able to put it down. Make sure you have plenty of time to read before you even think about picking up this book. 2. Be prepared to laugh out loud. Some lines are absolutely hilarious 3. Be ready for disappointment but only because this wonderful series has to end 4. Expect lots of Zach and Cammie romance. They are the perfect spy couple. This book will blow you away. I am truly sorry to have to say good bye to Gallagher Academy, to Macey, Liz, Bex, Zach, and of course, Cammie. this series has brought me so much joy and it is fitting that it is concluded by the wonderful piece of literature. Enjoy!

Loved this book. I am sad to see the series end. I have enjoyed reading the series very much. I loved how Ally ended the series. A lot of suspense, action, and heart wrenching moments. All good things must come to an end and Ally wrote it beautifully. I loved this book and will always love this series. :)

I don't really like reading that much but once in a while i will find a book series that is really amazing. This series is one of those!!!! I read all the books (except the second one) in like two months. Advice for people who are about to read this book: never tell yourself "just one more chapter" it is impossible to put down! I bought this book on my nook to read over the summer, but i finished it in 3 days. Am i the only one who wishes Zach was a real person? I cant wait to see if they are going to make a movie out of these amazing books! Where can i audition to play Bex? ;)

The Gallagher Girls series is a well written set and I recomend to people of all ages and both genders. It is very exilerating and makes you feel like a spy yourself. This paticular book in the set of six is completly unexpected and unique. I garentee it will keep you on edge all the way through. It is full of romance, action, risks, and everything in between. Be a Gallagher Girl with Bex, Liz, Macey, and Cammie or a Gallagher Boy like Zach and read this amazing series and find out all in the finale United We Spy.

Ally did a wonderful job at concluding this series. I was left with no questions and was content, though I'm VERY sad it's over. I ranted and ranted throughout the series, shut the book every time something unexpected happened and paced around. I started this series two years ago, and this last book comes out two years later. I feel as if I grew up with all the characters, and that was one of the best experiences. Well done, Ally <3

I honestly don't have anything bad to say about this book. I'm now a 25 yr old mother of two but I started reading (and rereading and rereading) this series when I was 18 and have always come back to it. I love the storyline and I don't know if or when they will do it but.... Disney can give me a call for auditions for the movies!!! I'd definitely recommend this to YA readers, even bookworms and shy girls get to have fun lol
