Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
"Packed with case studies, in this new era of new devices and applications, this book is well worth reading." (Bookviews.com, July 2008)

"The authors coin a term, "virtual distance", to refer to the feelings of separation engendered by communicating by e-mail, instant messaging, audio conferencing and other tools. If you've ever had a misunderstanding with a colleague via e-mail, you've experienced virtual distance. The authors provide solid advice and a good starting point for managers who want to figure out why their virtual teams aren't communicating well or aren't delivering strong results." (BusinessWeek.com, May 16, 2008)

Uniting the Virtual Workforce: Transforming Leadership and Innovation in the Globally Integrated Enterprise

Dr. Lojeski and Dr. Reilly have shown there are more productive ways to operate overseas in Asian and Middle-Asian/Eastern markets. Companies that work out of the upper block need to read this book.

Uniting the Virtual Workforce: Transforming Leadership and Innovation in the Globally Integrated Enterprise

Highly recommended... This book is the first publication that deals with the truth of the price tag in doing business with core groups segmented across the globe, or across the country. Every executive and director of segmented workforces, even if they are localized or regional, should read this book. Twice if necessary, in order to understand the dollars and sense of working people through technology.
