He's the oldest of the three Taggart brothers. And the boldest. Tall, dark and rippling with muscle, Danny Taggart takes no prisoners. But when his latest case puts him up close and personal with the woman who once left him raw and aching, he's shell-shocked. Caroline Medford is still hotter than hell. But she's also got her pretty grip on the truths that have shaped him into the soul-ravaged warrior he is today. Burned once, Danny's plan is to satisfy his craving for Caroline and walk away. Yet once he has her warm and willing beneath him, he can't get deep enough-or close enough. Not even when danger threatens to destroy everything he's ever fought for. Including the only woman he's ever loved...

    Not Your Average Romance Novel

Romance novels aren't really my style and I hardly ever read them, but I will admit to being shallow enough that the gorgeous guy on the cover caught my attention when I was passing by the aisle. Read the synopsis, thought it sounded interesting and took the book home with me.

I was blown away by how much I enjoyed the story. It could have stood alone with just the suspense of the plot on it's own not even needing the complicated past between the two main characters ... the star-crossed lovers, wounded pride and great sex only made it that much more fun to read! Definitely recommend this book for anyone who's looking for more natural characters and a great fast-paced plotline to back them up!

    Unleashed ***Awesome Read***

Ok, so I read the book in one day! It was that good!
Danny and Caroline were high school loves, who went on into their 20's together. Life gets in the way of their relationship, Danny enlist in the armed services and is gone a lot. When things get to be to much and Caroline has a miscarriage she breaks it off with him without him knowing why. Twelve years later their lives get thrown back together between her husband being murdered and his mother being murdered and their crimes interlinking them. The story is touching, romantic and full of suspence. It takes turns you don't expect.
I will definately keep this book, it is worth reading again! A+

    Great read

    ## I really enjoyed this book. The writing style was superb as was the intrigue. All three in the series are good but I liked how this one wrapped everything up. I adored the heroine; thought she was tremendous. The hero, not so much. He sure treated her like crap (ergo only 4 stars). Calling the heroine "needy" and "phycho b*tch" not once but twice was unforgivable. Even after the obligatory misunderstanding was cleared up, he ran hot and cold. I say this is one time the guy should not get the girl.

    Good Plot

Good Plot and very romantic and suspenseful. However I will not recommend to a friend because of all the bad language.

The third Gemini Men romantic suspense thriller is an action packed second chance at love tale

Perhaps it is because he is the oldest of the Taggart siblings that makes Danny kick butt and ask questions afterward. His "Gemini" twin younger brothers seem gentle in comparison (see Kept and Caught for their respective tales). Only one person outside of family ever got passed his rock hard heart, but Caroline Medford dumped him ten years ago; coagulating his heart into glacial ice.

Sometimes you get what you wish for and Danny gets his. A desperate Caroline begs him to help her as she is the prime suspect in the murder of her husband James. To entice him to take her on as a client, she shows him evidence she found linking James to his missing mom Ann. Danny takes on the case, planning to take her and dump her. As they fall in love for the second time, their break-up leaves both raw and suspicious of the other's motives.

The third Gemini Men romantic suspense thriller is an action packed second chance at love tale that completes the overarching theme while also providing an intriguing finish. The villains are incredible as they make the story line work with their avarice human trafficking while the lead couple is a strong duet whose history may overwhelm their future. Fans will enjoy this fine last Taggart standing novel while newcomers will seek the tales of the twins Ethan and Derek, who with their father Joe and their women make key minor appearances in the exhilarating UNLEASHED.
