“Uno” by Greenday piqued my interest due to the “Oh Love” song. I had heard the song from youtube and was curious to check out the cd. I understand that others may take the cd to have different meanings, but the theme of feeling adoration is my current interpretation of “Uno”. It is just that “Stay The Night”, “Troublemaker”, and “Oh Love” seem to embody the highs and lows of endearment. “Angel Blue”, “Sweet 16” and “Rusty James” are also appealing tunes. “Uno” is a fitting choice for those who like at least five Greenday songs.

¡Uno! is the first installment of a trilogy, aptly named ¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tré!, from American punk-poppers Green Day. Produced by long term collaborator, Rob Cavallo - who worked on Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod and American Idiot - the record represents a maturing sound that still packs the same energy and power that characterises Green Day''s pop-punk legacy. The writing for this album began in February 2011 and didn''t quite stop until they made the decision to create the trilogy in the model of Van Halen''s Van Halen I, Van Halen II and Van Halen III.
