In a time when many question the historical origins of the papacy, this book dares to present the New Testament evidence confirming that Peter was indeed the first bishop of Rome from whom papal authority derives.

By an exercise of raw judicial power, with precious little rational substance in support, the Supreme Court has undermined the core concept of American law: human dignity. Individual human dignity is now tied to the concept of independence. Any dependent human life, whether an unborn child or a disabled child or an elderly person, is now in the danger zone. This new legal zone is a danger zone where the protections of citizenship do not apply.

As a Catholic I want to be able to understand and defend our faith. Mr Sobrino has written a book of essays of depth and common sense on topics such as abortion, contraception, the all male Priesthood and the Pope. This book helped me clarify my own thinking and helps my discussions I have on these important subjects.
