Overview

Nell Massler is a powerful witch from an ancient magical family. Before she was eighteen years old, she attempted murder—not once, but twice. Committed to a psych ward, she attempts to right her wrongs and almost loses her life.

While she’s lost in a coma, Caruthers Initiative Institute develops a vested interest in waking Nell—and offering her a chance at redemption.

Nell is given a fresh start in exchange for saving her fellow agent, Rafe Brooks. Keeping him alive and in hiding will require every ounce of her extraordinary abilities. Not falling head over heels for the sexy mind manipulator will take a miracle.

It's when they uncover a plot to destroy the world that Nell will be put to the test... will she choose Rafe and to do the right thing? Or will she succumb to the temptation of evil yet again?

Editorial Reviews

Amazon - Ellen Lafleche-christian
Unquenchable is the second book in The Serendipity Duet and follows where Undeniable left off. While I have read Undeniable, I could have easily enjoyed Unquenchable on its own as well. I really enjoyed reading about Nell because she struggles with making the correct decision which makes her more realistic. Rafe and Nell seem to fit together quite well in part because she is so totally different than Joss from the first book.

Tawdra has great talent and her writing ability is incredible. I enjoyed the story line and was sucked into the action and romance. I liked the characters and how they developed not only from the last story to this one but in this book with each other as support.

I'm not going to lie, I read Undeniable first and then IMMEDIATELY bought and read The King Series before I started Unquenchable. It's not necessary to do so, but I fell in love with the characters and wanted to know all their stories.

Before starting Unquenchable, I hated Nell. It shows what an amazing story this is, since by the end, I loved her and can't wait to read more about her and Rafe.

Like the whole series. YA definitly, but nice to sometimes read a book that is just plot and not full of unnecessary sex scenes

Finally! Now I know about Nell and her story. Who is Nell? Well, if you have read the King series, you have heard of her but that is about it. I am really glad Tawdra wrote this book because it explains SO much about Nell and why she has acted the way she did. See, I always kinda liked her but I was most certainly in the minority ~ I like villains. *giggle* I guess I wouldn’t call her a villain exactly but she has not always make choices that were, shall we say, likeable. I am afraid there are a lot of people that will not be able to get beyond Nell’s actions in the past to see the real person inside. Unquenchable is Nell’s book. She is tasked with saving Rafe, the ever loveable hero. Three strikes against her right there. But if anyone can pull it off, it’s Tawdra. Her books are written full of passion both good and bad that bring out emotions regarding her characters and Unquenchable is no different. After Undeniable, I was unsure how on earth we were supposed to move on, let alone Rafe. But Nell is just the person for the job. Promise. The plot is fast paced and filled with exciting moments. As time passes, the healing that is so needed occurs and in some very unexpected ways. I was so caught up in this story that I could not put it down so make sure you allow plenty of time once you start reading it. *grin* Oh and allow for a book hangover the next day. I am truly sad that this storyline has come to an end. I have loved each and every one of the books in both The King series and The Serendipity Duet. The characters have become my friends and I shall miss them. The only good thing is I know that Tawdra has new friends waiting in that psyche of hers, just waiting to meet us. If you have yet to read this series, do yourself a favor and start at the beginning. You will be glad that you did. And if you have read the series, do not miss Unquenchable just because it is the last. You need to read it. Rafe and Nell are waiting for you. P.S…. Watch for my review of Undeniable in a day or two! *wink* Rating: 5 Stars***** *Note: I received this book in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. All opinions are my own and no further compensation was received.
