    I Also Recommend:

A great way to pass the time.

This sequel to "How to Knit a Wild Bikini" you fall in love again with the old characters and the new ones as well. Christie's writing style is great and you find yourself sitting in the Knitting shop and enjoying the friendships.

    Highly Recommend

She's done it again. Another fantastic read by Christie Ridgway. The book is fast paced, the characters well developed and the story line interesting.

    an entertaining contemporary romance

Being the widow of an US Army General usually means respect for the surviving woman, but in the case of Juliet Weston she receives none of that even from the tight knit military families. Instead the media condemns her for marrying a much older man while the military and his family scorn her as a gold-digger.-------------- Having enough of the ridicule that she does not deserve, Juliet flees to her home in Malibu where she can grieve her loss without the nasty spins of the pundits or family. Her only companion is her late husband¿s trusted aide, Noah. However, she begins to fall for Noah at the same time she learns she has two sisters that she never knew existed.---------------- UNRAVEL ME is an entertaining contemporary romance starring a fascinating lead couple who each has doubts about falling in love with the other out of respect for her deceased husband who was his superior officer adding to their respective discomfit both knows the timing is bad as she grieves her loss. The newly discovered sisters¿ subplot enhances a fine tale that fans of Christie Ridgeway will enjoy while anticipating two more ¿Malibu and Ewe¿ novels to follow. -------------------- Harriet Klausner

    more from this reviewer

I had a hard time getting "into" this heroine at first

I had a hard time getting "into" this heroine at first - Juliet Weston began as a teeny-bopper with a crush on a foxy older man, to his wife as a very innocent young woman, to his widow, still a young woman, in the blink of a few pages. So it's hard figuring out who she is, when not in relation to others, a problem that lingers till the book is almost done. Turns out Juliet does have a personality, after all.

However, Ridgway's strong writing, and her sexy and complicated hero, Noah, kept me turning pages. I liked the newfound family thread, and speaking of threads, of course I was a sucker for the knitting shop theme. My biggest problem with this book was almost everyone, from the newfound sisters, to the hero(es) and the quasi-villain, stepdaughter from hell Marlys (who I actually liked better than anyone else) seemed more interesting than the heroine.

"Unravel Me" is a worthwhile read

I really enjoyed this book. The romance was engaging, but the story also rang true on the subject of dealing with the death of a loved one. There was also humor and good interaction among the three sisters. I had not read the first book "How to Knit a Wild Bikini" when I read this one, but now I will.

Terrible. Could not get through it.

Weak, weak plot and boring characters. I got half way through and thought "this is not going to get any better".
