This is a short book only about 65 pages but it explains all about the various types of serial killers, their attributes, being organized and disorganized etc. Very nicely put together. The stories are short but still, for a beginner true crime enthusiest it's a good book

    Short and not informative

In my Nook, this shows up as 58 pages. The first 20 pages are taken up with some general info that you could get from warching a few episodes of Criminal Minds (some of it even sounded like it could be quotes from the show's dialog).

The other 38 pages were about the unsolved serial murderer cases. But in each case, you get less info than you'd get in a newspaper article. The.names of some of the victims, the weapon, or method of homicide -- that s about it. No background, no details. But in a couple cases, a sentence or two implying theories, which I found annoying.

I might be more forgiving if the overview didn't claim, "This book is not for the faint of heart." What a load of crap.

If it had taken each of the unsolved cases, and provided some context, background, details on the evidence, and the police investigation, etc - perhaps 4 or 5 chapters per unsolved case, this might have been a good book. As it is, it is nearly wothless. A quick read, it is nonetheless a waste of time, in my opinion.

    Good

Short but good stories. He even told about the murders of the two girls in Wichita kansas in april, 1992 in the bridal shop. It happened just down the street from where i worked. I saw the cops there that night and often wondered the fate if the murderer had of come just a few stores down. It could have been me that night. Makes you think.
