This is my first Kennedy Ryan book and I think it is a pretty special one to start my journey with her books. In Until I’m Yours we meet Sofie Baston a mean girl, supermodel and for all intents and purposes unobtainable for common men. On the outside she might seem shallow and unintelligent but in the inside she has been hurt many times by many people even the ones she never thought would hurt her, which makes it hard for her to open up with the people who really care about her, she loves doing good in the world and she wants to prove to the naysayers that she is more than a pretty face and a hot body. We also meet Bishop, he’s an entrepreneur who focuses on helping people un underdeveloped countries, together with hi best friend and his assistant they are trying to make the world better one step at a time. Now having read that you would think that nothing could ever happen between them because they are so different, but they are also very alike in the things that matter. I wasn’t really prepared for some of the plot lines that the book presented to me, I thought I was going into a lighthearted book and instead I found a much deeper much richer story, I think Kennedy handled everything with sure care and respect, I just couldn’t stop reading, I fell for Sofie personality immediately, she is definitely a girl power kind of girl and I admired her for that and much more. And Bishop always there supporting her was perfect. Great great book, now I think I’m going to go back to the beginning and read the entire series.

"Nothing works without you. You're my fire. You know that, right?" Sofie Baston has lived her whole life in the spotlight. She's made her living from what's on the outside, whether looking down from billboards, or walking the runway. Trevor Bishop is a true man of substance, working to help those that cannot help themselves. Also a great judge of character, Trevor knows that there is more to Sofie than what's on the surface. Helping her to see what he sees may be his biggest challenge ever. Oh, my Lord, this book. I could not get enough of this book. UNTIL I'M YOURS is the first book by Kennedy Ryan that I have read, and I can happily say that she has found a longtime fan in me. This book had me feeling everything. Sofie, for all of her perfected outer witch, has so much more going on. As one of the rich and famous, the world should be her oyster, but events of her past have her searching for something more, something greater. I love that Kennedy has made Sofie more than a caricature, and given us a heroine worth getting to know. She is stronger than even she knows, and watching her growth is truly inspirational. And Trevor, oh, sweet Trevor. He may have spoiled me for future book boyfriends for a very long time to come. His determination to show Sofie that her spark is there, ready to be fanned into the fire that will drive her, his unwillingness to take her at face value and enter a meaningless hook-up, his dedication to family, friends, and the larger world, make him one of the most compelling male leads that I've read in a while. "Is that what I am to you, then?" She looks at me unsmilingly. "A challenge? Something to be achieved?" "I think you're a woman who hasn't even begun to show the world who she is." I consider her for an extra second. "I think in some ways that's something you're still trying to figure out yourself, and people engaged in that process fascinate me." UNTIL I'M YOURS is the fourth in the Bennett series, and can easily be read as a standalone, but I loved it so much that the first three are fast-tracking it the top of my TBR. I loved the characters, the story, just everything about this read, and it will stay with me for quite a while. One of my favorite books so far this year, UNTIL I'M YOURS gets an easy 5+ sexy, swoony, 'now, THIS is what an epic love looks like' stars from me. Add this one to your TBR, and do it quickly, because you must read this book.

This is book # 4 in The Bennetts series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. It is part of an amazing and fulfilling series. Reader enjoyment and understanding are better when read in the order intended. Trevor is fascinated with Sofie even before they meet. Afterwards, he cannot stop thinking about her. While he sees the beauty on the surface like everyone else, he also understands by looking into her eyes that there is so much more to her. Sofie is immediately attracted to Trevor, even before they are introduced. The pull of him is stronger than any other man she has come into contact with. Too bad she is so scarred from the pain and the past where man have used her as a pawn. I found this story absolutely fascinating. It shows more powerfully how looks can be deceiving. I think it also is telling of how even beauty can be a vice. I loved this addition to the series! ***This ARC was given by Netgalley.com and its publisher, in exchange for an honest review.

It's not that Sofie is unlikable, she perceives herself to be unlovable so she has erected a wall that serves as her defense against hurt and disappointment. She plays her part well. Maybe too well. Trevor is intrigued by the mysterious beauty and senses deep emotion hiding behind the icy facade. I received an ARC of Until I'm Yours by Kennedy Ryan in exchange for an honest review. With all that Sofie kept locked away it's surprising she didn't fall apart sooner. I don't say this often because I hate women being portrayed as the weaker sex BUT I am so glad she had someone who was willing to risk it all for her. Trevor was the white knight Sofie needed in her corner. I have read all four books in the Bennett series and from experience know that this is the one author that I read whose stories are so purely raw that I cry without even noticing the tears. That is powerful storytelling.

4.5 Stars Another fabulous hit from Kennedy Ryan. I have to admit that this is the first book that I’ve read in The Bennetts series, and I have clearly been missing out. Until I’m Yours follows the story of Sofie and Trevor. Sofie has always been known as rude, the b***h, supermodel. But, no one knows the real Sofie. Underneath it all is a strong, enchanting woman, who has a really big heart and uses her meanness as a facade. What Sofie didn’t plan on was Trevor. Trevor is nothing like the men that she usually involves herself with. He sees things that no one else does. He wants more. But, is he asking for more than Sofie can possibly give? When Trevor meets Sofie, he is intrigued by her. Sure, he sees what others see; a beautiful young woman. But, there is so much more to Sofie than what meets the eye. But, Sofie’s walls are up high and if Trevor wants a chance with her, he’s got one heck of a wall to break. Will Trevor be able to break down Sofie’s walls and show her that she deserves more than what she’s been given? Until I’m Yours is the fourth book in The Bennetts series, but it can be read as a stand-alone. This story is told from dual points of view and hooks you from the very first page. I loved everything about this story; from start to finish. This book had everything that I was looking for and more. There was angst and romance and lots of steamy moments. I will warn you, this book does deal with some very sensitive and difficult subject matter. I was very impressed with the way that the author handled that material. Until I’m Yours was a fantastic read. The characters were fun and easy to connect with. It was very easy to get lost in this story. I can not wait to read more from this author! *I was provided an ARC copy of this book, via the publisher and NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review*

Must Read Contemporary Romance with Strong Heroine and your next Book Boyfriend Until I’m Yours is the fourth book in Kennedy Ryan’s Bennett Series. I have not read anything from Kennedy Ryan before, and I was unaware that Until I’m Yours was part of a series. I found the book to be easily read as a stand-alone novel; Ryan provides plenty of background information so that new readers have no difficulty following the story. This book has it all: thoroughly developed, interesting characters, a plot so thick you need a knife to slice through it, a career-killing secret, and a horrifically, dysfunctional family. Kennedy Ryan has written an unequivocal page-turner. Sophie is a stunning supermodel. She was raised to consider “trophy wife” as her ultimate objective. A traumatic experience leads to her abandoning her academic aspirations to recuperate and beginning again in Europe. She is beautiful, successful, and bitter; she knows that something critical is missing from her sinful life. Her father’s prospective business associate, Trevor Bishop, is the only person who seems to recognize in Sophie “an appetite for significance”. Trevor Bishop is a saint. He is also a Princeton dropout turned altruistic entrepreneur. His humble beginnings gave him a solid foundation, and his gene pool has gave him ginger hair and handsome face. He is thoughtful and purposeful. Everyone should have a Trevor in his/her life; he is strong, supportive, kind and loyal. He is a swoon-worthy book-boyfriend. The bevy of supportive and pernicious secondary characters are developed and pivotal to the plot. Until I’m Yours is a story of survival, tenacity, and healing. Yes, there is a romance, but it is almost secondary to the story of Sophie blossoming into the best version of herself. Trevor, in all his goodness, is the catalyst to Sophie letting go of her public reputation in order to search for the compassionate goddess who resides within her. “When we’re young, we live for the good times, setting moments on fire, laughing and dancing in the flames. We’re invincible. No one tells you the memories may haunt you like ghosts, knocking around when the house is quiet and you’re alone with your regret. No one tells you about the rubble of your destruction. No one tells you that you’ll get burned, and those fiery moments become your mistakes.” Sophie completely owns her past mistakes—not that she’s proud of them; between her uncaring parents, her trauma, and owning up to her subsequent bad choices, she is a very empathetic character. I loved that her small “team” thoroughly supported her through thick and thin. I desperately rooted for a positive outcome for Sophie. Sophie and Trevor do have an instant appreciation for each other’s outward appearance. However, Trevor’s feminist beliefs and core values, lead him to insist on restraint until the two know each other better. He believes that intimacy really comes from knowing and admiring someone from the inside out. Now don’t you want a stand-up guy like that in your life? What sealed the deal for me was Trevor’s unwavering and public support of Sophie through her nightmarish ordeal. I enjoyed this refreshing and redemptive story so much that I plan to read the entire series!
