The second installment of this series was captivating. Dare I say that it was even better than the first? Dahlia and Lucien cannot fight their attraction. It goes beyond the surface for them. They simply cannot stay way from each other. But them being together may not be so easy. Lucien’s cousin, Selene comes crashing in one day and her arrival shakes their foundation to its core. As Lucien and Dahlia admit their true feelings, circumstances surrounding Lucien threatens to keep them apart. These two are determined to get through it together, but at what cost? There are consequences for their actions. And their actions play a part in the lives of others. While some things are answered this time around, there are now even more questions. I don’t think I could’ve flipped the pages fast enough. Unveiled goes much deeper than the first book. Lucien and Dahlia are even more passionate this time around. Their love consumes. And that ending? It left me speechless. I really enjoyed this follow up as I found it well written despite being a novella. There were enough details to make me want (beg!) for more. I need to know what happens and I will certainly be counting down until the next installment.

I really liked this story. I am not a fan of paranormal, but this story is so full of mystery and suspense, I love it. Lucien continues to be an enigma to us and himself. Selene and Bailey seem to know more than they want to share and I wish Lucien would question them more deeply. Dahlia may be in peril if she stays with Lucien. Lucien is becoming more human as he falls deeper in love with her. I have heard of power transfer when two lovers are into BDSM, but this is something totally different. Dahlia is so in love with Lucien, I don't think she realizes the changes in her. Theirs is a love affair that keeps growing as she falls deeper for him too. Written with the style unique to our author, this is both an entertaining and engrossing story you will not want to miss. Be warned the end of this installment is a cliffhanger that will have you wishing for the next book right away!
