This book was really good at not only explaining the Hmong students' experiences in the American high school setting, but in describing the Hmong culture. I found this book very informational and helpful as a teacher working with Hmong students. I highly recommend this book for someone who is doing research or is interested in the Hmong people and for teachers who may or do work with or around Hmong students. Was this review helpful?
