    This was a short story.

This was a short story. When an alternative lifestyle was mentioned, I thought it was refering to same sex relationships, but it was not. I guess it was the use of pot for pain control. This quickie was rather silly and I found it a bit boring. There was some humor and the characters were likable. There needed to be more details and it needed to be longer. I like an element of surprize and danger in my mysteries. This had neither. The editing was better then most free books. I think this could be an excellant full length book if the author would rework it a bit.
