Overview

Behind every member of the Sisterhood, there’s a man who knows better than to get in her way. Now the guys are bonding together, in the first in a thrilling new series from New York Times bestselling author Fern Michaels.

Through public triumphs and private sorrows, the men in the Sisters’ lives—husbands, friends, colleagues, and lovers—have offered invaluable aid and support. In the process, they’ve become an informal brotherhood of their own, able to relate to the unique challenges and rewards of life among the vigilantes.

But after years of bit parts, the Sisterhood’s significant others are itching to take center stage. Frustrated with the limits of the criminal justice system, Nikki’s husband Jack Emery has recruited his friends Ted, Joe, Harry, Bert, Jay, and Abner. They have brand-new headquarters with state-of-the-art equipment, an unlimited bankroll, and a plaque on the door that reads BOLO Consultants. Their first case: toppling ruthless slum landlord Tyler Sandford—also lieutenant governor of Virginia. Sandford may have friends in very high places, but that’s no match for BOLO—or the women who’ve got their backs….

Had I known that this was a very short book with added short versions to promote other Fern Michael's books ,I would not have bought it. I don't like reading books that have no ending or are just the forerunner to the next book in that series. I just finished the Sisterhood series and liked all of them,so this was not a good way to continue on with the same characters.

I was very disapointed in this book and Fern Michaels. I will not spend the money for the sequel. Not only is it too short but it leaves you hanging. Being short is could be a good thing because it is boring.

This is truly upside down...because she has taken the old worn out plot line from her other books and flipped it so the men are now doing the vigilante work. Why not try to have an original thought once in a while

While I love the authors work, I didnt like purchasing what I thought was a novel and getting a novella.  At least with the sisterhood series each was a book in its own right.  This "book" is actually the beginning of a book.  If this is the direction Fern Michaels js moving in I will stop reading her works.

I am so disapointed re the length of the first 2 books. I was expecting full size novels. The plots are repeat of some of the Sisterhood storie s.

Nice setup for a new Series. But am hoping that the books that come next are Full stories. Wish I had known it was only to set the whole series up.

In this installment, the women leave a lot to be desired. Independence is a wonderful thing, but not when you deliberately hurt the ones who love you the most. Maggie has always been my least favorite, and she still is. This is not a complete story and could easily be combined with the others instead of making three books out of it.

I have almost all of her books. They are interesting, non-repetitive, good humor & story. Easy reading for pleasure.

Excellent book. If you are a Sisterhood fan, you will want to read this series. Loved it because I love the Sisterhood Husbands!

I loved the Sisterhood series so when this new 'Men of the Sisterhood' series appeared I was very happy! I've read the first two books and both are fun, quick reads heavy on escapism. Just what I want when I want to relax. Sure they're formulaic, but they're pure entertainment. Period. Enjoy!
