Urban Tales

From the author of Othello Jones and Minister Q comes a powerful collection of streetwise, soul-deep short fiction.

Urban Tales gathers Charles Harvey's most gripping and lyrical short stories — where sidewalk prophets meet sex workers, where men slip on the down-low, and secrets ride shotgun on late-night trains. These are voices you know: raw, Black, poetic, comic, broken, healed — and utterly unforgettable.

You'll find stories that first appeared in standalone editions — fan favorites like "Betty's House," "How I Got Over," and "The Ballad of Othello Jones" — now curated into one powerful volume with bonus material.

Whether you're into grit or grace, this is your ride through the underbelly and beauty of the urban soul.
