U.S. Army Rangers
We would like to thank the service of some very special people who place themselves in harms ways daily for the defense of the United States of America. Two units are highlighted here, the U.S. Army Rangers whose motto is “Rangers lead the way!” Also the U.S. Army Special Forces “The Green Berets” whose motto is “De oppresso liber”, the U.S. Army’s translation: “To Liberate the Oppressed”.
To be selected to one of these outstanding units is extremely rigorous; soldiers go through months of physical, mental, and skills testing. Very few who start the selection process are able to complete the course. Other basic requirements will be a high general technical score and a high combat operations score on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery. Soldiers need to qualify for a secret security clearance, and complete airborne training.
We hope to highlight some of the very hard and dangerous work these fine soldiers do daily in order to keep us safe.
